I've owned both the s550 and s650, and the screens are absolutely awesome. It's a joy to drive. I also love the s650s aggressive look. Mach1 is also cool! But since you're asking, I like s650s look better.
I love S550 look the most especially on the M1HP and the GT500s. The S650 look is growing on me and I am happy to compromise some of the interiors - which are gorgeous in S550 compared to S650s (uh!).

I love S550 look the most especially on the M1HP and the GT500s. The S650 look is growing on me and I am happy to compromise some of the interiors - which are gorgeous in S550 compared to S650s (uh!).
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

At one point our dealership had 8 M1's on the lot that just collected dust, no one was looking. I drove one with the pp, loved the side profile, but that front end is just terrible to me, looked like a pair of sad eyes. Thought the interior was blah, very dated. Been selling Ford's since 1997, once the 650 was introduced, I was hooked, the front end, the big screen, really brought it current in my opinion.

I think most 650 owners would jump at the chance if they were in your position because they know what they're like day to day. Maybe ask you could drive it for a day or two?

i think its a very good deal in your favor if its premium DH
and you can always swap out the seats
but its much easier to go premium seats to Recaro than the other way around

Enjoy ! A guy like me would have rather seen a new gen Mustang with a chassis as good or better than the 10 year old GM Alpha , more steering feel than S550 and not less and a 5.8 Coyote to get some low to mid rpm TORQUE which makes a V8 fun in first place ! And yes I prefer manual gauges and real knobs to these Touchscreens for I hate TESLA even more for Ford is not the only legacy automaker follow the lead of the blind...LOL

Yeah I thought a LOT about this. Frankly the bay area traffic is deranged. I just didn't want to do that 24x7 cause that was my main car to drive. Now that I have another one, it's time I can chill.

That said, the A10 is really good. I really wish Ford got the DCT7 from GT500 in this but that's asking too much.
I am with you on the Recaros that are neither height adjustable nor they do offer lumbar support but feel more like a vice grip especially if you are a bigger guy...I did not mean phat...LOL BUT really the Mach 1 and now the DH are really the only Mustangs you can drive because they have a TREMEC and the cooling necessary if you actually want to do a track-day...Having said that looks is personal but you have the better car because the M1 is lighter and does not have the touchscreen...IMHO Buy what you want because its YOUR money...LOL

So the deal as it stands is canceled. I am okay to go for a DHHP but not with recaros. If someone with an A10 wants this let me know, and I can ask this guy.

I'd do it if not for the recaros. Maybe someone else would show up in the future hoping I still want to do it at that time.

I dont understand why you want the A10 with the crappy logic that can overheat on track but I am 100% with the Recaros in the Mustang...A deal braker and I did Love the Recaros in the SS1LE ! Good luck with finding what you want and I agree with you the S650 does look better than the S550 but I still think the S550 is the better car due to lighter weight and no Touchscreen...But to each their own...I was like you going between Vettes,Camaros,trying Mustangs and finally found happiness with the Challenger-WB...If it had a lighter aluminum block , a hand operated hand brake , a real foot-rest and rev-match it would be PERFECT...LOL

I don't disagree with you. I find S550 just seamless compared to S650 and I find the touchscreens a bit of a weirder trend. That said, I have driven this for 3 years; I could move to DH (HP only) and make it work. Recaros is the only - no-go and why this fails.
