Had a local body shop look at it that the ceramic shop recommended and does work for and he stated rust won’t be a concern because it isn’t down to the metal. He mentioned something about an e-coat? He said if it bothered me to much he would take care of it for me but rust isn’t something to be concerned about. Thoughts?
If it was my car, every time I walk past that wheel opening, first thing I'm looking at is that spot... 😂. I'd have them touch it up

it’s the same way I feel. I’m not OCD but I’m probably not far from it lol. I must have tried for about half an hour this morning before I gave up every time I push the panel it wants to come back which interrupts the drying process super frustrating.

Well, I've self diagnosed myself as ocd, so I feel your pain, haha.

It's a tough spot for sure to get in there and touch-up. Your car, your decision

I would imagine as a professional body shop they have something to make it dry quicker or where the process won’t be interrupted. I believe I’m gonna let them do it. Thanks again.

I used doctorcolor chip on mine works perfect. It is a little pricey but worth the money.
Body shop offered to do it for free mix the paint and then give me the rest for free. So it’s a good trade. I’m sure they will be able to do it and make sure it will have staying power.
