Also by corner grills in the original post I meant this.

Looks really good!! I was wondering your opinion on the hood vents and the corner air intake add ons.

For the hood vents, do you feel that it's flush enough that it doesn't immediately stand out as just a stick on? I noticed the other day that the GT version is a bit more flush inward, which it obviously can do since it has an actual hole. But I think the stick on version looks like a good compromise and flows really well, just wanted to gauge how you felt about it.

And for the corner air intakes for the grille, do you think it gets a little lost in the darkness of the grille? Or is it just the photos not doing it justice. Something I noted with the other photos of it posted in the thread is that it looks either thinner than it's GT counterpart, or the color blends in really well with the shadows caused by the hood. In your day to day with the sun shining, is it something you can identify as being there?

Sorry for this long ramble, hopefully my comments make sense!
Here it is in the sun if the camera can do justice lol

Thats perfect! I think I'm gonna pick up the Hood vent and Grille kit as well, I think it really ties everything together! I probably will go for the NYTOP chin splitter though...

Yes that would be an awesome upgrade! I too would have gone with that if I did not have 42000 ford points that I used for the splitter

Honestly just let a wrap shop add some black vinyl to the deeper part of the painted bumper that already resembles the gt plastic part. Or even better let them warp the plastic part and the part above and the splitter in gloss black to match the rest

I'm confused. Why not just get the GT instead of doing all this to look like a GT?

I can think of different reasons for that. First is money, GT is more expensive. Another is EcoBoost have better mileage. So it's a better daily for that.

Each one of us have different needs and desires and the fun of having a car is to be able to modify it as you like.

IMO, I prefer the clean front end of the EcoBoost than the hood scoop of the GT. Although I prefer the GT Bumper than the Dark Horse Bumper. Different tastes. :D

Some of it is for the fun of doing the research and the work yourself -- making the car unique and your own.

Price probably has a lot to do with it.

Weight is also a very strong consideration. The EB weighs significantly less than the GT.

Hood vent installed on ecoboost, for anyone wondering, it’s about 12” from the front of the hood to start of the hood vent.

Her are various angles with grille, hood vent and splitter on a Ecoboost.

GT vs my ecoboost, pretty close expect corner grills

I had an Ecoboost before my GT, and man I miss that gas mileage. And the GT does weigh considerably more especially on the front end, not near as nimble, especially on turns.. feels like I'm driving a boat sometimes, but it does sound good!

Looks great! I bought a GT grill from eBay (had to modify it slightly) and installed it last month. Love the front end look now!

What kind of modding did you have to do in order to get the GT grill installed on the ecoboost?
