Really weird you posted into this thread because not even 10 minutes ago, i looked it up to see if it has been posted in lately, and seen it hadn't, so i thought about messaging you directly lol

Ford just put out something interesting, 24H01, where they want 11 vehicles to have their left cylinder heads replaced, with the old ones being sent back to Ford for evaluation of some kind

Description
On your vehicle, the hydraulic clutch pressure line may not be properly retained to a locating stud on the dash panel. A line with improper retention may contact hot exhaust components and melt, leaking hydraulic fluid.
Safety Risk
A leaking clutch pressure line will not impact the volume of brake fluid in the brake system, so you will not observe an impact to brake function. However, this condition can impact the brake fluid supply in the clutch and can result in an inability to change gears. If leaked hydraulic fluid accumulates near a sufficiently hot surface, you may observe smoke and experience an under-hood fire. An under-hood fire increases the risk of injury.
Remedy
Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to inspect the clutch line free of charge. The clutch line will be located properly and in most cases that will close the recall. However, in the case the clutch line on your vehicle must be replaced, your dealer will replace the clutch line with parts available. If parts are not available andor backordered, you will be offered a rental until parts are available.
*A recall is an action by the Company to remedy a vehicle that has a safety-related defect or that does not meet a regulatory requirement. It may require that you return your vehicle to the dealer for service. My auto start stop doesn't work. I'll make sure they specify not to fix it on the work order when I go get another recall fixed. And I'm willing to bet they'll fix it anyway. Possibly they will fix only auto start stop and not the other recall I have

ford released 24E05 yesterday that re-programs the BCM and ensures auto start-stop works properly. unfortunately, since this is an emissions recall, it will prevent new vehicles that are affected from being sold

I’m planning to purchase a 2024 Mustang next week. I have the window sticker, so I know the manufacturing date (more or less). Is there something I can do to make sure the dealer did all the fixes and updates before I buy the car? Or do dealers only do this AFTER a problem has appeared?

TSBs and SSMs can only be taken action on if the customer is having a described issue

the website is a cloudflare domain getting data from Github. i might add search and sort at a later date. i dont quite know how to do those, but i have an idea for how search could work
