My my24 vert is vibrating @ 50-80mph. It’s cyclical and worse at 70. Anyone else have a similar issue?
2600 miles.

Good morning! If you'd like to, go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and dealer info and I’ll look into this vibration concern. Thanks!

Vibrations suck. So try to document some items to begin the diagnostic process.

1. Do you feel the vibration in the steering wheel?
2. Do you feel the vibration in the seat , ie: your butt?
3. Does it stop/start when brakes are applied lightly?
4. Any other noises?
5. Does it vibrate revving the engine in park up to the same RPM as when driving?
6. Have you tried swapping the tires front to back?
7. Does the type of road seem to make it worse/better?

I'm sure others will have additional items to check.

yes, vibrations are terrible.
vibration is felt in the seats and doors, not in the steering wheel.
The tires cannot be rotated due to the factory staggered setup.
There is no brake vibration.
The road surface does not seem to matter.

what are your tires inflated to, cold psi as measured on a known, trusted gauge, NOT the TPMS readings.

so much for that idea... since you’re not feeling it in the wheel, I’d be inclined to look past the front wheel/tire/balance - you’re not seeing the steering wheel oscillate, even slightly, correct?

Any modifications?
Did you nail a curb, pothole or large object?

I was on 410 in San Antonio piloting my wife’s Lincoln with 21” wheels at about 60 - 10mph under the limit and hit a significant pot hole. Enough to bend the wheel horribly, but did not lose the bead. Made it home and had to replace that dude for 500 smackers. USED !

My Vert has a shutter in the windshield at 80 or above when the top is down. No other vibrations, smooth as silk. There's got to be something loose or the like for a vibration you can feel in the seat and doors.

I do not recall hitting any potholes or objects. Anything is possible though.

I also do not remember feeling any vibrations or seeing the steering wheel oscillate. I’ll look again tomorrow morning.

I do have one modification to the car regarding the drivetrain that I am suspicious about. I had them replace the rear half shafts with the FP ones in prep for adding the FP whipple SC. One or both could be the source…but dang it man. They are high quality.

You might have gotten a defective part. So based upon your updates, does the car vibrate when in park/neutral and revving to the RPM where when driving, it vibrates? This is how you can eliminate suspension components. Could be exhaust system if it does.

AND...

did you first notice the vibes after the half shaft install?
I’m sure they’re high quality ... Overall, but they’re mechanical parts designed and manufactured by imperfect humans. Mistakes happen. It could be workmanship too.

Whenever you have a problem, always look back to the last good observable performance and work forward through any changes and:

NEVER modify a vehicle that has some problem or concern. Ever. You will amplify troubleshooting efforts.

Let us know what you find tomorrow.

The Timeline on when the vibration started in regards to the installation of the new half shafts is trough. I have been trying to figure that out myself. All I can say is that I noticed it afterwards, but it was not immediately. This does leave some doubt with the temporal relationship.

The car is still new to me and I’m still learning about it. I’m noticing new things daily. It takes time.

as far as vehicle mods, I hear ya, but it brand new and I didn’t expect any issues. Should I have messed with it? Likely not. But I made the mistake of prepaying installation thought the ford accessories website and had to get it done at some point.
