I found out about the X-plan pricing for Mustang Club of America members. I joined yesterday which makes 19 October 2024 90 days after membership for eligibility. I placed my order for a GT Premium loaded with everything but the magneride system. My current production date is the weeks of 9 or 16 September 2024. I live in the greater Los Angeles area. Can I claim X-plan pricing if I take delivery after 19 October? After further research, I did not negotiate the best deal when I placed my order. If the car arrives before 19 October, can I delay taking delivery until after 19 October and get X-plan pricing? Can the dealer force me to honor the earlier agreement on price?

I did the same thing myself, ordered the mustang then found about MCA pricing x-plan make copy of the pricing and gave to dealer who then put that in the folder with my order and I still don't know if they are going to honor that new pricing myself, car will be built -8-5-24 that week, so I'll let you know in 6 weeks or 8 maybe depending on how fast the convoy is

Are you over the 90 days?

I told my dealer that I wanted to use X plan price after I received my MCA club letter. We had already made the original deal, but the car hadn't come in yet, but they were ok with changing it to the X-plan. To my surprise they beat the X-plan price by another 1k when we finalized the deal on delivery in November last year.

They may honor the price, or even beat it. Just tell them you will only take delivery if they can meet the X-plan price.

How long will the dealer allow me to wait between when the car arrives and I take delivery? It might be close between the 90 day membership and when the car arrives. I would like to use X-plan pricing. Can I wait until after that date?

They will not hold the car for you. If you don't take it quickly they will put it up for sale. It's possible that it doesn't sell by the Oct 19 date and then you can buy it with x-plan at that point.

But I would suggest talking to your sales person about the issue. They may work with you or possibly match the x-plan price without you having to wait.

I reread the AXZD Plans Pricing Agreement more closely. Under the Dealer Agreement item number two:

Ford agrees to pay the Dealer the commission in effect under the applicable Plan. If a Participant does not accept delivery of the vehicle within five
(5) working days of notification by the Dealer that the vehicle is available for delivery to the Participant, unless otherwise agreed to between Dealer
and Participant, the Dealer is relieved of all obligations to Participant. The vehicle then becomes the responsibility of the Dealer and no commission
will be paid.

So, according to the X-plan, I would have five working days. NOW, that begs the question, if I am not outside the 90 days, does this clause apply? When I get closer to delivery (around 90 days from now) I will know for sure. I will definitely reach out to my dealer about this subject once it gets closer to production and delivery (with most of the delays, it may take care of itself).

it was about a 3-4 days when I found the xplan MCA pricing and gave it to the dealer, so under 90 days but the order was placed in march and will be built 8/8/24
