I’m considering 25 mm wheel spacers. I have heard varying reports regarding safety. Does anyone have any experience with these? I do like the appearance of a wider stance, and really that’s all I want them for: appearance. Other than some mildly spirited driving on local country roads, the car is a business vehicle so it is not driven hard, and no track use, so any changes to the handling characteristics would be somewhat inconsequential.

I have 25mm spacers on my pp mustang zero issues. Have run them on previous cars no issues. Just buy quality hub centric spacers. Only issue I ever had was with aftermarket wheels with vibration over 80 mph. Most problems exist with super wide wheels or spacers on wheel bearings. Aka the big ass trucks.

Steeda's 20mm spacers say you might have to cut your lugs for them to fit. 25mm is probably better

Has anyone here installed 20mm spacers? I prefer the 20mm but I don’t want to trim the studs. Wondering if it’s required on non-magnaride cars.
