Can't decide which one to order. Does anyone have any real world experience with Procharger and their tune?

Did they release tuning yet? They said it was "coming soon" a month ago

I had a Procharger, but this was years ago and the tune left a lot to be desired. I didn't even get into boost on the first drive because normal drivability was bad.
I ended up limping the car to a tuner and getting a custom tune. Can't speak on their tune as of late.

Whipple tuning has been great for a while, with my F150 I did stay up to date on revisions of the tune, but they just kept getting better and better. But I could have kept the original tune it came with.
IMO, I don't think there is a better FI company that has a better stock tune.

It is weird Procharger has shown a couple cars with their kit installed , But NO video of them actually running??

I like my S650 but until tuning is available I'd be pressed to spend over 10K on a blower and not be able to run 9's.

i would recommend getting a Whipple instead of a Procharger. the Whipple has tunes out now, doesnt vary boost depending on engine speed, and assuming the 2024 kit will be the same price as the 2023 kit, the stage 1 Whipple with a 3yr/36k mile warranty makes as much power as a stage 2 Procharger kit for very slightly more. no word on torque figures from Procharger. the Whipple can also use up to a 120mm throttle body, where it looks like the Procharger uses the factory dual 80mm throttle bodies, resulting in the Whipple having up to about 12.5 cm^3 more throttle body area, about the area a 40mm throttle body would have. finally, you get the iconic supercharger whine with the Whipple

The amount of whipple 5.0 on the road would have me buying one of them

Man, that's a tough choice. Was in that debate myself for my truck.

Overall, it's gonna be how you want the power delivered. More instant with Whipple or the ' theatrics ' with Procharger and the noise but the delay in boost build up.

For a daily, you really can't go wrong with either. I will say that with Whipple being direct with Ford as far as tuning goes; they will aim to maximize what they can in their calibration.

Rumor has it there's an update Whipple tune coming that's going to be very refined.

You need the competition air boxes for that whine

Throttle body size doesn't really matter on centri/turbo like it does on a Whipple. People have gone 7's on the twin 65mm Cobra Jet TB with a ProCharger

With the 10 speed automatic a procharger builds boost so fast it is almost like having a P.D. I can’t say anything about whipples turning and I can’t say anything good about prochargers turning

I like the positive displacement blowers like the Whipple and Roush, but don't like losing my front strut tower brace. I like the fact that the ProCharger I can keep the front strut tower brace.

But I haven't seen enough to decide if I'm ready to lay out the funds for any supercharger yet.
