Upfront... I'm not a pundit of overly-restrictive EPS rules and regulations. Some are good, some are extreme cases of bourgeois oligarchs exercising their control over us proletariats! (The emphasis' on Lenin is intended!)

The burble, rumble, rattle, pops, and bangs we (collectively) like to hear, are in fact running our ability to hear. Like it or not, the folks who (overly) modify their exhausts to achieve the right note of resonance, are guilty of noise pollution. They're also affecting their own health, and at least some attention should b paid to this fact.

Interesting side point. About the only 'attribute' electric cars (seemingly) have, is they're quiet. However, I recently had a chance to witness a Tesla Plaid rip off a 0 to 60 dash. Aside from the tire noise, the screech from the mechanicals is awe inspiring, but not the reason stated here. Fact is, it sounded like a hyena with his butt on fire!

Just got my Steeda X pipe installed and I never would have thought I could be so happy with a sound. If anything it eliminates some highway drone from stock. Slightly louder on startup and very tame until you give it the buisness then she sounds like a nascar
