My office is above my garage. The only access to it is thru the garage. Everytime I go to/from my office, my Mustang GT wakes up as in a greeting and saying, "Let's go for a ride!". I talk back to her saying, "in a little while" or "Not today, it's raining" or something like that.

Sometimes I will look over at the cam monitor, enlarge the garage cam, open the garage door just to see her face and if I'm really anxious remote start with a few revs, just to hear her roar. My neighbors love me

Then there are times when I get back from a drive, I'll go back to the security cams and watch the different camera angles of me coming up the street, backing in the driveway and into the garage.

So I think you are completely normal
