My predictions.....

GT
Dark Horse
Some supercharged car w the Predator DCT combo that has a slight bump in power over the S550 GT500 and styling hints from the GTD

I like the Dark Horse but hate the name.... I mean if you are going to get rid of Boss/ Cobra exc. you might as well get rid of the Mustang name also?

They want to move the car forward but also want to keep the oldest name "Mustang" oh ....and they also added retro guages trying to tie back to the older cars...but they also say its time to move forward?.....I think they are confused....

Getting rid of those names to me is the equivalent of Ferarri saying you know......lets move the brand forward and stop painting our cars red......

I also think the next gen will go to a hybrid set up for its performance versions....just where the world is headed.....

There's really not a huge difference for $3,700. I'd lean towards the GT.
The TREMEC alone makes a big leap. Lean towards the DH if considering the manual.

With the launch of the GTD and the 60th Anniversary, the next possible offering will most likely be some type of Shelby Darkhorse. Probably in '27 would be my guess

Something like that probably. May or may not carry the Shelby branding.

But by ā€˜27 Iā€™d say thereā€™s a pretty good chance itā€™ll be a hybrid.

Ford said that the V8 isn't going anywhere anytime soon!

Maybe a Boss 429 they already have the gas 7.3ā€¦.
Boss 302 is essentially the Darkhorse
Either way when can I buy one?!
Current 2012 Boss owner
Still think the 2021-23 Mach1 with handling package shouldā€™ve been a Boss.

Ford can replace the Dark Horse for a Boss like replaced Bullitt for Mach 1. Are you thinking Ford will sell DH for all this generation?

The Darkhorse did what it was intended to do, and knowing Ford they aren't done with it yet!!

I'm thinking of dropping the PP for my sister in law, and just getting the magna and brembos. Handling and stopping is the most important in a big city like the Dallas FTW area. Going to keep the six speed. That should bring it down 59K+. I think the regular W rated tires and rims will work. Like to get 20s in case we go with a Whipple SC.
You can't get Magneride without PP.

But when I seen that Roush it was love at first site. Like a good woman. They're great until they whine. That's what I don't like about the Roush, the whine.
That's why I like the Whipple it is the most quiet supercharger out there and that's why I like it.
