Anyone else having trouble with the car remembering the custom UI colors theme? I even setup my profile and the car keeps randomly reseting my indoor lighting and UI colors.

This is all over M7G. have you had an OTA update or done FORSCAN mods? They will reset your module specific selections to default.

Common reset values are
custom colors, ambient lighting, alarm prompt on exit and a few more possible I’m sure I’ve forgotten.

Hey all, I have about 200 miles on my new DH and I wanted to check for software updates. I have Auto updates are on and it says there is a update available but it hasn't run in over a week. The "update" button is greyed out
Any ideas?
Also are there ambient lighting in cup holders or other places like s550, not seeing them?

I would like to be able to end a call using steering wheel buttons. Its annoying when i have maps on full screen and i have to take my eyes off the road to find the end call button. SOOOOOOOOOOO many other cars have this. The popup exists to answer it on the screen why not keep it as one of the scrollable info sheets and have a button to end call.

Also for everyone who gets annoyed with the drive mode resetting on every restart I believe its due to noise regulations from a specific state where their testing is done at a startup state in normal drive mode.

Try idling your car for around 10 minutes to update. Or drive around.

No ambient lights in the cup holder for this model. There are some people who ordered parts and wired everything to make it work but it's not easy.

This has happened to me several times now. I get in the car and suddenly notice the colors are nowhere near where I set them. Anoying for sure.

Poor analogy. Adjusting my climate settings or turning on/off most any feature using the screen is nothing like using your cell phone to post a message on Facebook, read/reply to a text message, watch a TikTok video or post a selfie. It takes me no more time to change a setting on the screen than to find and press a hard button on the dash. Maybe that's just me, a Gen Xer.

Although reading the manual is a passenger task

I guess I never realized that I was in the minority of people who can walk and chew gum at the same time. We have certainly fallen far as a society.

And just in time. Last night I took the wife out, put the Mustang up about 2215. startup at 0615 and I had a sync reset of at least some modules, but no s/w update showing.

it looks like custom colors, ambient lighting and the alarm exit prompt.
I guess I’ll wait for the next update to not happen, I turned off OTA updates. Obviously if it happens again, it’s another issue entirely.

@Ford Motor Company, listen up, stuff your customers want in the next update:

1. An option to fully turn off that stupid ass heart beat on start up. Just annoyingly gimmicky and unnecessary.

and get rid of the car spinning around graphic while your at it and all the other dumb kiddie stuff that kids will only see when their parents are driving or with an adult because they cant afford one anyway. Also make the aux gauges have some kind of numeric reference. Not trying to figure out what the gauge is trying to tell me while driving. Its a quick reference not a math contest.
