I researched because I had the same questions. I came to the conclusion that I would be betting against myself by buying the extended warranty. There’s very little chance I’ll spend as much money on covered repairs if I don’t get it as I’d spend on the warranty up front if purchased. There’s a...
I had to get a new half axle on my car due to a torn boot on the cv joint. My dealer replaced it under warranty in 2 days. It sounds like a lot of the cv joints come from the factory with leaks or other issues.
Has anyone compared the J&L vs UPR catch cans? J&L is cheaper, but I don’t know enough about oil separators to decide which is a better buy.

It’s not a big deal. It just happens when you don’t move the steering wheel for a while. It’s actually impressive how straight the car tracks with no inputs. If you jiggle the wheel a tiny bit the warning immediately goes away.
My GT is at the dealer right now for what appears to be a leaking cv boot on the left rear. Yellow grease is all over inside the wheel barrel. I’m not too upset though, and don’t regret my purchase. It should be fixed under warranty and it looks like the s550s had the same issue from the...
The confusing parts for me were step 2 says to remove the splash panel, then step 3 says “before panel removal”. And can you explain more about why the front 2 bolts have to be installed early to prevent NVH in step 4? Maybe it will make more sense when I get under the car, but I’m having...
I decided to take the exhaust off because I only had a hack saw to cut the pipes. The biggest problem happened after that. I couldn’t get the h-pipe to fit over the oem pipes. I even called MRT and sent them pics and they didn’t know what to say. I ended up having to heat the h-pipe to get the...
I looked at the mustang6G forums and it sounds like defective cv joint boots have been an issue for years. Apparently they have to be ordered with the half shaft and a lot of them come from the factory already leaking...
It looks like the AE wiring harnesses and sensors are in a different position on the s650. I installed an MRT h-pipe and it moved my exhaust back about an inch because I had trouble sliding it all the way on the pipes. I was worried about the wiring harnesses, but instead of mounting them facing...
