The PCM has not been changed in this car and I'm not complaining. I was just asking a question as to what info I can provide Forscan to get it to work then a bunch of people who don't know how tuning works on an S650 tried to turn this into a pissing match about tuning.
Tuning from an OEM...
My description was irrelevant. No matter who did the install, no matter who installed the calibration, no matter who I bought the supercharger from.
Ford is the ONLY one able to provide a calibration. PERIOD.
Assumptions are never a good look, especially when you don't have the knowledge of how it works, even worse when your signature says that you only work off facts and not assumptions.
I'm glad I supercharged my car too.
I do not have that calibration and because Ford has already processed my VIN they can not provide it either.
You're wasting both my time and yours here, and contributing nothing constructive to the conversation.
Who installed it is 100% irrelevant, shop or otherwise, as the installer doesn't provide or create the calibration. Ford is the ONLY one who can create a tune for an S650.
Who I bought the SC from is also irrelevant as they did not provide or create the calibration.
You do realize that if you...
Until tuning is unlocked, if it ever is, yes this is the tune that I'm stuck with.
My local Ford dealer(s) are not willing to replace the PCM without paying me for it, and the only tune they will flash on it if I do proceed out of pocket is my stock tune. They do not have access to the...
I'm well aware of what he's saying and he's incorrect. This isn't helping my issue at all either.
It has nothing to do with "not supposed to have it" but moreso "they are unable to provide it"
FORD provided the wrong tune, so yes you did say they are responsible to right the wrong.
I promise you if you walk into any Ford dealer and tell them that you modified your car and now you can't use software that you aren't supposed to have to modify things you aren't supposed to modify and...
I think there is more to it than just rollout, as this was in a bone stock A10 car with less than 1,000 miles on it. It's clearly horribly inaccurate on every single metric. There was little to no wheel spin on this pass either.
For reference my 2,000 horsepower X275 car doesn't cut a sub...
Legally, that's not how that works and Ford has no obligation to enable access to further modify the vehicle. Ford has provided a product with no warranty and no support implied written or otherwise as there is no agreement and no money has changed hands.
Even if I agreed with you, it's...
I don't think you're understanding things.
Ford doesn't support making any modifications to your vehicle, they aren't going to make any exceptions because a modification you made altered it and it doesn't do something now.
I can't get the BCM update to make the auto start/stop functional. Not that I want it, but my vehicle is on the list to get it and they can't flash it.
