I spoke to the service advisor this morning and asked it to be checked. Got a call back a little bit ago and was told everything else looks fine. I guess we’ll find out if they really checked it when I get it back.
Are there any other new mustangs on the lot? Even if it’s an auto you can test the brakes for the sound. I don’t remember my car making the whooshing noise when I bought it.
I’ll give them a call Monday and ask them to check. Do you drive yours daily? The light would be on for a few drives and then go away for a few. I don’t drive daily though so maybe it went off for extended periods because of that.
Thanks for sharing this… Hopefully they have some kind of standard testing they do for it. Now I’m hoping they don’t just throw parts at it. Did your check engine light stay on? Mine would come and go randomly.
I have the brake issue. My car is currently at the shop they are still trying to pinpoint the brake noise. I can update when I hear back, hopefully next week.
They are replacing a catalytic converter for a check engine light I’ve had. Not sure if a cat would cause weird exhaust noise...
Mine has changed once and it was after one of the updates. Has not done it since then.
Maybe try the BMS reset? This fixed some other random issues I was having.
It doesn’t sound normal. I’ve never had that issue. I have seen a few posts here with people saying they’ve had that or something very similar happen.
If you’re using wireless CarPlay try to go into your bluetooth settings and turning the wireless option off and back on instead of restarting the car.
I agree that it’s some kind of interference. It’s a newer big fire station and has a massive tower in the back. Sadly, I have not seen anyone else have issues where the radio starts to stutter and completely shut down. We have an Acura and a F150 that never have any issues. My parents live...
I hope so. CarPlay and android auto have been out for years at this point. I know some people don’t mind and buy it for the engine noise but this is unacceptable.
I have issues with it.
When using wireless CarPlay sometimes I get no audio. I go into my iPhone Bluetooth settings and toggle wireless CarPlay off and on. Usually doing it once works. Sometimes I need to do it twice.
When using wired CarPlay with my iPhone, I’ve noticed it will start to...
Just curious - if the car sits for months do the tires develop any flat spots that don’t go away? Or do people put the car on jack stands or something?
