The valves are open slightly on startup in normal mode, fully in quiet start. You can cheat it a bit by turning the ignition on, cycle to sport/track, and then start it. Track opens the valves fully all the time.
Otherwise x/h-pipe and/or new mufflers. FP also has a Boss 302 x-pipe with side...
Interesting...just had a GT in that was the same. Quicklane replaced the battery about a month ago and got towed in dead, battery was toast. New battery in, BCM apparently had a draw of ~110mA - and of course the BCM is on backorder. For reference, when the vehicle is asleep it should only reach...
Being as the platform is very similar to the S550, I've seen the low side leak more often than anything else. I think the heat from the exhaust cooks the seals on the valves and eventually just leaks (our 100*F+ weather doesn't help either).
I found out through our FSE that they are very much aware of a supplier QC issue with those compressors and still "investigating" the issue. Funny enough the same compressor or supplier supplies the ones for the '23 Expeditions (and probably other vehicles), which caused the BJB FET to short out...
This or the "trim/moulding" tape work well. Make sure you clean the areas of old tape well!
If it has an actual spoiler, should have double sided tape for the lower moulding and bolts at the ends of the trunk lid. Cars without the blade "spoiler" or an actual spoiler just get taped to the trunk...
An "open" door won't set a code, however the BCM does store any alarm events viewable as PIDs (lame mans terms "data") up to the last 4 events. I have no idea if Forscan can view these PIDs (I assume it can), but lower cost route.
Without being there, I'd assume a door latch (ajar switch is not...
Insurance is nuts across the board - State Farm bumped mine up to $950/6 months ($100k/$300k liability $500 deductible) with my '23 GT and further $50 when I moved into my own space. Been with them since I started driving 11 years ago. USAA is roughly the same or more. Only one accident ~10...
Yikes that alignment is way off! With the excessive negative camber on the left front, you'll have a slight pull there to the left, compounded by the lack of camber on the right rear. No way 4 new tires would fix that alone. The rear camber is adjustable, but the front isn't without camber...
I'd love an explanation! Always curious about the deeper workings of software/networking/etc.
I don't have that much hands-on with Sync 4 (I don't roam through everyone's center screen stuff unless I have to - which is rare since Sync 4 is pretty robust), so that's good that you can still use...
OTA updates don't require a personal subscription to a cellular company - if the setting is enabled Ford will push out updates as needed/requested and will be downloaded via cellular network either as you drive or when you shut your car off/at a scheduled time (depending on what module(s) are to...
If it was actual transit damage caused by the shipping companies it'll be marked as a warranty repair and paid for by said shipping company and to my knowledge will be marked in OASIS warranty history (although description of repairs may vary shop-to-shop) - we used to have a huge issue with...
Makes me wonder if at least the mufflers would fit the S550? Sucks FP didn't release any AE upgrades.
Looks like they're really supporting mods (to an extent) now though.
Didn't even know you could do that. Dope.
Yes, Ford is adamant about oil change records (or other services) when it comes to a failure requiring a cost-cap. As long as you have some form of proof you or someone else (trustworthy/certified) did it per manufacturer service intervals, you should...
Kinda expected it, but also slightly shocked too. Took a gamble after being dumb with money and went for a '23 GT or '24 pricing. '23 showed up long before '24 pricing - and a '24 with similar options would've been ~$3k more.
And at this rate, I wonder if 10+ year finance plans home loans may...
Interesting idea...
While I don't know what the warranties are on other wraps or PPF, I'd imagine the only good part is being a factory application it would be covered under the 3/36 warranty. Depending on when on the assembly line the wrap/PPF is applied, it may be cheaper (labor to de-trim...
Hello fellow Tucsonian :)
Looks like diff bushing reinforcement and/or NVH damper. Workshop manual yields nothing on it, but the bolts that hold the diff housing run through it. Haven't seen them on S550's, so must be an S650 "upgrade."
Ended up going with my '23 since Eruption Green wasn't going to be continued onto the S650 and I absolutely love the color (would've ordered an S650 if the prices were out around March).
Hopefully they bring in some special colors or more outland-ish colors (Eruption Green, Orange Fury, Cyber...
I though those wheels were originally going to look terrible after seeing them in black for the past 8 years...they actually look good with that gunmetal like accent.
Looks good!
