If this is a thing, I wonder what do they have on their rigs that causes interruptions. And what is it at a Firehouse that would cause interruptions as well? I mean, other than their Radio receptions and Emergency communications, I don’t get it. 🤷🏽‍♂️
M.I.R.T. devices to start with and honestly, I’m not sure what else, but in my case, the fob worked moments before, and flawlessly for at least 18 months after. I pass by this gas station once per week so I know it’s not a locality issue.

I sometimes have the CarPlay issue where the song is "Playing", you can see the art of the song and the seconds running but there is NO audio. No matter what you do. You have to turn off your Mustang, and start it up again.
If you’re using wireless CarPlay try to go into your bluetooth settings and turning the wireless option off and back on instead of restarting the car.

I’ll try that next time

yeah i have the same issues. It disconnects 1/3 times I drive the car. My car has some other electrical issues as well. The dealer looked at it and couldnt figure it out. I've just learned to live with it
Hi there! This definitely doesn’t sound like the experience we want you to be having– If you'd like to, go ahead and send a message to us with your VIN and approximate mileage. I’d be happy to look into this for you. Thanks!

There’s nothing you can really do. Ford has to release an OTA update.

Hello,

I wanted to update the thread. Ford released Software Update 10.1.0, this updates the stability of bluetooth connections. I received it last week and haven't had any issues since then.

Ford saw my last reply and their customer service team reached out for additional help. I thought that was cool, Genesis never did that.

I have issues with it.

When using wireless CarPlay sometimes I get no audio. I go into my iPhone Bluetooth settings and toggle wireless CarPlay off and on. Usually doing it once works. Sometimes I need to do it twice.

When using wired CarPlay with my iPhone, I’ve noticed it will start to stutter so the audio sounds like it’s skipping.

Also, when I drive past a fire station here and have to stop near it or drive slowly past it, CarPlay starts to really act up and my audio will completely turn off. This is while using wireless. Have not tried wired.
I had issues at first with Car Play.
It greatly depends on the quality of your source.

I use my Apple 🍏 Eye phone.
At first I had to use a US B cord
The smaller connection cord. I think C cord is larger connection.
Some way or another the Songs got loaded.
If you are using Car Play & there is no sound.
Look at the Screen.
You may see the Song is on Pause?
Please remember you can also use the screen to fast forward or reverse to hear the song again.
The forward & reverse arrow on your steering wheel will do the same thing.
Now all I have to do is use the Voice Command Button on the steering wheel and say-Car Play & it with start playing a song. Usually the first one alphabetical on your play list.
I usually go to my phone and hit Songs & shuffle so I don’t hear the same list of alphabetical songs.
After you get the hang of it, it’s pretty simple.
As far as the quality of sound I would experiment different recordings on your phone.
I load all of mine off the Internet 🛜
