I did some research on the 2015 mustang timeline.
December 5 2013 reveal
Mid April 2014 dealer guide releases (leaked after)
Early May 2014 order guide leaked
May 20 2014 order guide released and order banks opened

About 5.5 months from reveal to order banks.

That would put order guide and banks for 2024 around late February or Early March if it followed the same timeline considering September 14 reveal.

Crazy enough though, it doesnt look like 2015 Horsepower numbers came out until July 17 2014, so this doesn't fit with the 2024 timeline at all.

I am right there with you, hoping it leaks in January! I was just curious how the 2015 timeline compared

Hopefully we will get some starting figures much earlier. Wouldn’t think they’d just slam us with all these options and open orders immediately with no time to consider.

Assuming it will take 5.5 months like the Gen 6. This would mean by end of Feb the order should be taken. Wondering when they are going to have full reviews about the car and also revealing the technical specs. Ain't that long to go....

I’ve heard from a local deal that order banks could open up between the 16th and the 20th. You hearing the same thing? That seems a little early???

I haven't heard anything on that. It would seem feasible based on the production timing. Normally there's 30 days to take orders before VINs start being assigned.

This is starting to sound more plausible to me than January 14th. We heard the 14th twice, but order banks typically open Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Saturday seems weird to me.

Either way, I speculate it will be within two weeks. Just my guess!

Edit: Okay, I had some free time and google. This page says the 14th as well....
