2024 Mustang Scheduling This Week (6/1/23) for Production Weeks 7/10-7/24

My Feeling; 1. Ford has built what they had parts for and/or Dealers have ordered what they could get built. Certain options have been, and are still problems, i.e. Night Pony, PP wheels, now a few other wheels (I've heard they have the worst rating between part suppliers & manufacturers). Now, I'm guessing they've been forced to add stop/start to all V8s, causing more delays for those parts apparently.
2. From what I've seen, dealers seem to want to keep the prices around 50 (+/-) for GTs, where a well optioned one can push 60, and the guy that's going to pay that much wants something very specific, and will likely order and wait instead of paying for something they don't want. I ordered in January and I'm hoping to have it by the end of August Some Dark Horse guys are already in over a year! I'm trying to convince myself it'll be worth the wait, but it's getting tough.

Nah- I won’t pay 50k for some shit ass build some dumbo dealer shit head spec’d out not gonna do it … I’ll move on to something else or find a close build out there like mine on the ground somewhere. I’m not opposed to shipping

Question: seems like Ford is having a bitch of a time scheduling retail orders - but every F’ing Ford dealership near me has dozens of cheaply spec’ed 24 GT’s sitting in their lots no one wants… Hmmmmmmm, I thought it was supposed to be the opposite. Retail orders get preference OVER DEALER SPEC CRAP…???

Wow, I feel for you guys! I ordered my first one 4/28/23 received it 9/8/23. It came in with a lot of damage on it and looked even worse after they had the chance to repair it. Dealer ordered the replacement car for me on 10/1/23, took delivery of it 1/8/24. It's hard to believe Ford is still having issues after a full year of production. I'm a big fan of the Mustang and I like the car, but if I were thinking about buying a new car today it wouldn't be a Mustang for upwards of $60k as built.

Glad you found one. I want everything but Recaro and can't find anything. Either no AE or Recaros so fuw full loaded cars out there!

Already changed the wheels and tires, getting a special wrap this week, windows tinted 20%, some other goodies on the way - had a Corsa double x in my shed from my MACH 1, putting that together with a valved Corsa axle back with black canon tips, then Kooks headers, then Whipple stage 1 ... and done
