2024 Mustang Scheduling This Week (6/13/24) for Production Weeks 8/5 - 8/26

Yes, but I've noticed that constraints tend to spread over the entire build cycle they schedule for. When my car was built there was a constraint on PP that was not disclosed on the schedule notes, so possible they don't advertise all constraints. Those constraints that are noted in the schedule usually stick. No V-8s is surprising to me, though. Kinda like McDonald's running out of hamburger patties. Makes me wonder if Essex Engine is shutting down for a few weeks this summer.

How long was your wait? I ordered mine 3/4/24 and still haven’t heard anything.

Well....I had 2 orders in. Long story short the one I purchased I had ordered on 7/8/23 and took delivery 11/18/23. Build date was 10/20/23. This dealer had 8 remaining allocations of 24 that I was able to claim speeding up my delivery over the original order from another dealer.

My original order was placed 3/30/23 and finally delivered in February 2024. That dealer had zero allocations.

Make sure your dealer has allocations to be able to get your order built.

My dealership just called me and said my order is now previewing for August 19th production week. After 14.5 months I will finally be receiving my allocation. It's really happening!!!

Congratulations, I finally got my build date of 7/15. We order our DH with AP,HP 6 speed and painted stripes. We order ours 3/28/23

Nice call on the painted stripes! No VIN as od today. My dealership told me I'm still listed in their Preview Scheduling System, but instead of production w/o 8/19, I'm now listed for w/o 8/26. I'm hoping no more funny business after this week. I assume this week was scheduling for the first half of August and next week will be for the second half.

I have horrible news, i was fake crying to my girlfriend beside me after buddy PMed me his was delayed to 8/5 i was pushed back to 8/12. Im upset.

My dealership just called me and said my order is now previewing for August 19th production week. After 14.5 months I will finally be receiving my allocation. It's really happening!!!

Not to be discouraging, just managing expectations. My Dark Horse Premium previewed for production w/o 6/3...then 6/10...then 7/15...and just changed to w/o 8/5. It's been 444 days...so far. On the bright side, I do have a VIN...so there's that.

Oh, after the miscommunication Ford dished me in April I personally believe I have less than a 10% chance of getting a VIN. I've been planning on buying a used M4 since the start of May. I don't think Ford will magically get their production in order and fill what they have left in their order banks. I just wish they would tell me one way or the other at this stage so I can move on with my life.

Same here! I was losing hope waiting for scheduling/Vin but glad I have a date to look forward to now. Totally missed the email on Friday but nevertheless a happy surprise today.

I don't think anything on my build list is contained within this although I am curious about the

EXHAUSTED - 99F - 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 Engine with Stop/Start System

Not sure what that actually is; this is for EBs but not GT or DH?

And on 7/3...my production date moved to week of 9/2. It moved 3-4 times in a 14 daye period, but has been at 9/2 for the past 16 days.

That's the GT engine
990 is the DH engine.
They're also all out of GT fastbacks with manual's too.

Daaaaamn, well here is hoping my manual DH gets built that day lol
