2024 Mustang Scheduling This Week (8/15/24) for Production Weeks 9/30 -10/28

Hey guys I am in the same most as most of you. I placed an order for a Mustang GT (PP, NPP, AE, 6 speed Trans, Vapor Blue Metallic ) on 6/7/24 and have only received those generic emails form Ford every 45 days. I have also been watching this guy from Long McArthur Ford that has a good handle on Ford's production/ordering/scheduling etc. If you go to minute 32 of the link below you will see that for those of us that have not been scheduled for a build may not get scheduled because they are not going to produce any more GT's for 2024 which sucks.



I was lucky enough to find one spec to my build about 300 miles away and pulled the trigger. You may want to explore your other options.

I watched it. He's just guessing, there's been no decision made. He says they are trying to make all the orders they received but are struggling a bit with GTs at the moment. That doesn't necessarily mean they won't be making anymore GTs.

70% of Mustangs bought are GT over ecoboost. Is there's still 580 cars not scheduling to be built yet, I would assume a large % of those vehicles will be GTs given that they are the lions share of ordered vehicles.

So there is still hope my brothers and sisters. Stay in the light. Stay positive.

It will be - No surprise for me if they do it, they just do whatever the F’ they want with NO REGARD to the folks that order - because they can, and if you want, you’ve got nowhere else to go except a C8 for $50K more and more waits there. Although, I’m seeing the shine is gone from those stupid looking plastic soup cans.

That NPP package sure seems to have destroyed a lot of people's orders.

My dealer told me to stay away from it at all costs or I will 100% not be having my build made. I still might not since I only decided to buy one basically the last day they were accepting orders but still.

He's convinced they are prioritizing builds that do not have the NPP and to a lesser degree the PP packages.

As long as you order the car in shadow black with NPP, you're good ;)

Well what’s not so funny is the lines and lines of shitty spec’ed cars the dealers have in their lots that no one wants because they are crap build outs. What happens is THOSE ARE NOT SELLING because of exactly that. But how it looks to Mother Ford is “no one’s buying mustangs” we have a backlog. When in fact no one is buying shitty built dealer lot cars.

So, when my order never showed because of NPP - I went looking Nationwide for an exact or very similar build. Wanting the PP, A10, Recaro’s, active exhaust, Mag ride, Premium package (I gave up on the NPP and didn’t give a shit about color just NO yellow) So, I went on the hunt and found only TWO, that’s right two cars in the whole US that were spec’d out how I Wanted. Of all the F’in dealers in this country.

Had my dealer do a locate to verify and he indeed verified only two - a white one and a rapid red, having a rapid red ST already that was out and being that black and white are virtually open slates I bought the white one from a dealer in MD - got it for $3K under dealer invoice and it shipped for free. Paperwork done with esign and it was delivered right to my front door two days later.

The car I originally ordered still hasn’t shown up and it was ordered May 3rd (now over 4 months) Order was never cancelled still in the system.

I know it’s not a 100% guarantee, BUT it looks like it might actually happen. For all you guys that have had orders in for decades I’m sorry it’s taken forever. It’s odd to me that this one might get done as it is an HP car and I’m shocked with the tires they are doing it this late.

Looks like my build got bumped up by 14 days.

Mine was original 10/28 and got bumped up to 10/14 , I also got my VIN on or about 8/15

Terrible - honestly, and what's worse is, they give no explanation as to why ... People lined up waiting to pay WAY TO MUCH for re-badged GT's some over $75-$80K and they can't build them and give NO REASONS WHY ... they are following in the same footsteps as Suck'llantis and Dodge

Got an update today that it was in production. I checked for the window sticker and nothing. Looks like it got bumped up again by 14 days.

Email initially said 10/14 but on the ford site it said 10/7, however last week it went into production and I didn’t get an email. I checked to see if there was a window sticker and there was along with the blend date. Surprised knowing I have the Pony package

looks like we are in the same batch. I have a blend date of 10/8. Hopefully it will be early!!!
