Possibly still takes 10 when fully empty and 9.5 for changes.

5w-30 semi synthetic possibly with an additive (XL-17).Different but related, does anyone know what oil 5.0s come with from the Essex factory?
It seems that would be helpful to know when deciding which oil to use. I am leaning toward the blend, at least until well broken in.
I use the Motocraft FL820S in my 2009 GT500. I use the FL500S in my 2024 GT. Is Ford Racing recommending the use of the FL820S in the 24 GT?i use a Ford Racing FL-820S and 10 quarts.
I believe the 2024 Mustang Owners Manual say,If you fill it to the "full" mark on the stick,,, GTG
I believe the 2024 Mustang Owners Manual say,
10 Quarts including Oil Filter.
I will double check?
Thanks for the feedback. I recently took delivery of my 2025 DH and I checked the oil at 140 miles and the level was just above the minimum required level. I thought that was strange as I never had a new car that the oil level was not at maximum indicated. I will monitor it and change it at 1,000 miles.I just took delivery of my 25 GT yesterday. The oil is on the lower end of the crosshatch so it looks like they are actually using 9.5 from the factory.
Ford saving money... a quart of oil on every car adds up...Thanks for the feedback. Ask your dealership why the failed to perform proper PDI.Thanks for the feedback. I don't even think they did one. They also delivered it with the shipping blocks in the front strut springs. I had to remind them for removal. I picked this car up a few hours a way because they happened to have the exact specifications I wanted. My local dealer is far better than that.Ask your dealership why the failed to perform proper PDI.
