24E05 Recall RECALLED - Again!

I got a phone call from my Ford dealer last week. They said the Recall was back on. I made an appointment for today and the Tech came to the house. when he went to apply the corrected software for 24E05, his laptop said it wasn't needed.
Ford is still confused.

I was bugged by Ford to schedule for this recall. I made the appointment but the service department called the day before the appointment and said Ford has stopped the recall.
I'm OK with it. My stop/start does not function and I guess it never will. Cool.

Check the Ford dealer/s in your area. Ford does offer mobile service now for many general service items.

I was within their radius. Ford came to the house, flashed the Body Control Module and closed a recall. While the tech was there, I got a tour of all the diagnostic software and connectivity the he had. I liked it, versus leaving at the dealer or watch someone drive off with it to the back.

Mobile service can also do oil changes, brake jobs, and other like tasks. Their trucks are setup nice and are capable. I've noticed Avis (and probably others) have moved to the same concept, with fleet services.

Mine says "Incomplete". Dealership was supposed to get that removed.

My Ford dealer has been texting me to bring my '24 GT in for the clutch pressure line fire thing. I responded that my eyes work and I can see that there is no issue with the pressure line harness and I'll see you and my next oil change. Not wasting time on any of these recalls and I certainly don't care if the start/stop ever works.
