400A vs 401A

Is the Space Grey color slightly different on 401A versus 400A? Or am I just seeing that because the two photos provided are shot under different lighting situations?

The 401A has additional two-tone trim on the sides of the bolsters and seat.

The biggest jump is from the 300A / 301A, as on base-models the passenger seats lack height adjustment.

Sorry, to clarify, 400A and 401A have the same power seats other than trim color.

Passenger seats only get height adjustment on the 400A and 401A, they don't on the 300A and 301A. The biggest jump is going to the "Premium" (400A) over the 300A/301A because it adds the power-adjustment for the passenger and climate-controlled seats.

Going to the 401A, the seats will look different because the trim around the edges of the base of the seat, and on the edges of the bolstering, gets a premium accent color, the 2-tone areas are bigger, but it's otherwise the same material (and seats) as the 400A.

That's the goal for me, a comfy V8 GT cruiser with some occasional spirited driving. With that in mind I'm definitely on more of a budget for what I hope to own in the future. I'll probably post a new thread about what I'm hoping to achieve sooner than later.

Thank you so much! Adjusting the seatback to lean back or forward counts as part of the 4way...somehow I didn't realize that. (I assumed power lumbar was what made the seat 6way, that was a big oops on my part.)

Of note, I just looked it up and 301A does get the 6way power seat with power lumbar adjustment. (I imagine this is the case for 101A as well.)

In the top picture the seat looks like a bright red and in the bottom picture it looks more like a maroon. Online in the ford car builder the red looks more maroon. In your opinion which color do the seats favor.

Thanks, yeah that is the way I am thinking currently also, have read the B&O is not that big of improvement either and I don't blast my music real loud either.

For the 2025 GT or any 2025 Mustang the 12 Speaker B & O Sound System is an additiona cost.
The trade off is the 10-Speed Automatic is Standard on the GT. Premium.
Is it worth the extra $2900 that is subjective?
For me I thought it was.
I believe you not only get the Large Screen but also the Mustang Puddle Lights. Lighted Scuff panel. Which you you have the option of 28 different colors to choose from? Heated & Cooled Seats. Heated Steering Wheel.
The Cloth Seats are not heated or Cooled.
Leather Seat's are. , You get the Paddle Shift, but I could be wrong on that one?
I also believe the 400 or 301?? Is $2000.00.
When were talking about the total price of a Mustang another $900.00 really isn’t that much to pay for all the extras you get.

Some Individual complain about them 12-Speaker B&O Sound System.
The Sound is affected by the Source.
If you want continuous LOUD BASE then you won’t get it.
If you want to hear nice Rock music you can get it & the sound is very good. My home System is all B&W with Audio Quest Silver-Copper HDMI cables and Audio Quest wire.
It’s all Subjective.
I’m very pleased with the 12?-Speakers.

thanks, do you know if the seat material is much difference? is it just the center section on the seats that is different? that is what i am not sure of, the stitching color doesn't matter too much, get black seats probably anyways. yeah the $2900 doesn't seem to be worth it just looking at the website list of stuff on the 401A

The Center or the Front Seat is for the Heated & Cooled Seats.
The Cloth Seats are very different.
No Heat or Cooled Seats.

Than you will also get:
- the 12 speaker set instead of 9- not worth it sub is weak.
- adaptive cruise control- never use it
- lane assist- included in 400a
- lane departure warning and blind spot assist- included in 400a
- pre collision assist warning- included in 400a
- speed sign recognition- do not need

So the 401A is more than worth it's money over the 400A.

You also get the heated steering wheel and heated & cooled seats. Included in 400a

I went with the 401A.

Just wanted to correct this miss information. At the end of the day you have to see if it worth it to you, I would be willing to pay 1k to 1.5k for the 401a but really not sure if I would even pay that.
B&O is a weak system when compared to a budget after market system,
turn signals on the mirror I find annoying.
Memory seats- not needed I am the only driver.
Stitched leather- This is pretty nice.
Active alarm- not needed
360 co pilot, not too sure
