How do I know it is a GT Premium? The window sticker says so and it has the full display (no gap), ambient lighting, B&O sound system, Pony puddle lamps, memory seats, etc. I also used a VIN decoder available online.

HOWEVER, another VIN decoder says it is a GT Fastback, with no mention of premium and the $42,860 price.

Man, you’ve got some weird crap going on. Definitely a mistake on the sticker. Not sure how to get it corrected. Good luck.

Weird crap exactly. Do I even need to do anything? I've been driving the car for two weeks and it has everything I wanted. I test-drove a GT with a split screen and cloth manual seats. I knew I wanted the GT Premium.

Do you think Ford sold this guy a GT Premium for the price of a GT? I'm going to the dealer next Tuesday for a recall issue, maybe I'll ask them if there is a remedy. Could it be Monroney making a mistake?

I think it might be a freak accident but ask your dealer if they can get you a copy.

So, are you saying that if the carbon traps were removed, they may have cut/damaged the intake tubes to do so? If they were removed, can new OEM parts be purchased and reinstalled?

Yes that is correct (the dealer would never know) but, I can’t think of a scenario where you will have the carbon traps cause you a warranty issue.

Any scenario what would include the intake part of the engine and/or the emissions system. Remember we are talking about Ford here.

OP has made it clear that his car is a premium. The issue is that the sticker he has shows the base price for a base car. Weird.

I know the whole story. As you can see I just reacted on the yellow part where the person marked Active Exhaust as a Premium option.

I was on the Ford site building a GT Premium...it says it is an option.
