60th Anniversary Brittany Blue

If you are a Mustang Enthusiast (which it seems that you are), buy it because you love the Series. If you love the S650 change and all the Performance aspects, buy it. It will definitely stand out plus all of the 60th Anniversary tweaks that it showcases will make it special. I marvel and stare quite often at my S650 because it’s Sexy and Mean at the same time and it’s not a “Special Edition” car. It’s Love when I look at it and to me, that’s all that matters and I’m sure it’s the same for a lot of other members on the site when they glance at their Mustangs.

It's pure love, that's how I lost the 65' my Ex realized that I loved it more than her!!

I ordered the Brittany Blue edition on 9/10, scheduled week of 11/11, built 11/14. awaiting shipping by convoy. The dealer was the only one to receive emails, not sure why because I received all emails on the status of my 24 Ranger. But I have order number and VIN and tracked it myself on the Order Tracking page of Ford. I think it may have some collector niche to it but not really why I am buying, but hope it does maintain some value. I had 30th Anniversary T-Bird in 1985 in Medium Regatta Blue and Ford gave a leather jacket, special floor mats in the Regatta blue color, and special key blanks with 55 on one side and 85 on other that could be cut and used and key ring and special badging all mailed to you after purchase. I still have everything but the vehicle. My dealer said it would be nice if Ford would go back to special giveaways like this.

I do know that there is going to be some type of advertising campaign documenting all that were sold! Other than that I'm not sure what they have planned

Seeing how I wasn't selected in the initial drawing, but I did get selected, my order was placed on 10-28 and I am still waiting for a build date, looking forward to driving it! Being this late in the year and living in the Northern part of the country I'm willing to wait till spring to enjoy it!

The Brittany Blue I ordered arrived at the dealership. Not sure if I'll buy it or not, since I already have a Dark Horse. I love Brittany Blue and I know they are only making 250 of them, but doubt I can pull the trigger on this one and trade in the Dark Horse. One cool thing about this car is the number on the dash is 00010. Here's a few pics I grabbed when I went to look at it.

I love Brittany Blue and I know they are only making 250 of them, but doubt I can pull the trigger on this one and trade in the Dark Horse. Anyone who mistakes this for the Vapor Blue needs to get an eye examination!

It is beautiful. I don't see how it could be mistaken for Vapor Blue. I will also say that I was iffy about the wheels in the pictures, but in person they look really nice with this color.

If you don't take delivery, it's going to put the dealer in a little bit of a bind because of the circumstances surrounding the process and selections, there's going to be a big advertising campaign once they all get delivered.

Ok they will have to contact Ford and tell them about you not taking delivery so they can decide how to handle it, for some reason Ford is Guarding and tracking these cars!

It's in the official rules that most people don't read, the dealer cannot just put it into their inventory and then sell it!

Oh well, not going to buy it so it’s easier on them. I’ll decide tomorrow when I take my Dark Horse there for comparison.
