Was going to say this. Maybe search the Forum for that thread where there was or possibly some valuable information or suggestions within to guide you. Good Luck with it.There was someone on another thread that had fan noise and had warranty work to fix. It was something about leaning back in the seat.
Thanks , appreciate the infoCheck your passenger side. I believe it has its own blower. Chances both being bad is remote.
Just checked passenger side can’t feel hardly any air blowing out on high, none from bottom cushion. Thanks , appreciate the info
Goes in Wednesday to service. Was going to say this. Maybe search the Forum for that thread where there was or possibly some valuable information or suggestions within to guide you. Good Luck with it.
Found it, thank you! There was someone on another thread that had fan noise and had warranty work to fix. It was something about leaning back in the seat.
I noticed the same, seat bottom and my back. I've never had a car with heated/cooled seats before so I have nothing to gauge it by.I live in Central Florida - 91 degrees today. I finally tried the cooled seats. It seems to blow between the seat bottom and the back - right at the hinge. You don't feel a "breeze", but you do feel a temperature drop. Even on the second (medium) setting, I can feel it immediately. On a long trip, it might be too much.
Mine is doing the exact same thing. Just dropped off the car for this and other various issues. Someone posted a SB for this a while back. It looks like the fan/housing need to be replaced in the seat.Yeah, I had mine on high today and for the first time I heard them. Don't know if they were working overtime or what. Almost sounded like the dead space between songs when you added an aftermarket 6 disc cd changer. No clue what it was until I turned them off, noise stopped
What are the issues you are having? A HC was my original choice but didn’t want to car jacked with the kid in the car. We settled on a convertible.Goes in Wednesday to service.
Filing the lemon law claim and start searching for a wb challenger!
Zero problems with the exception of this seat issue. I consider it a set back that will be covered under warranty. Poor joke from the guys who don't own a Mustang and are on here telling us how much better the challenger is, hahaWhat are the issues you are having? Probably the ones who have an SXT.Zero problems with the exception of this seat issue. I consider it a set back that will be covered under warranty. Poor joke from the guys who don't own a Mustang and are on here telling us how much better the challenger is, haha
Nah, all 6.4 wb, so much better than our lowly 650'sProbably the ones who have an SXT.![]()
If only Ford would up their game and give us a 5.8 so we could have some low end torque. I’m sure that would solve any ventilated seat problems as well.Nah, all 6.4 wb, so much better than our lowly 650's
I made that exact note on my lemon law claim. I'm sure it'll be discussed at the next design meetingIf only Ford would up their game and give us a 5.8 so we could have some low end torque.![]()
