Active Exhaust Question

I optioned my S650 with the active exhaust and i do like the way it sounds. However i do want more volume. I was planning on waiting until Borla releases thier Atak for the S650 with AVE but i dont really feel like waiting anymore, especially if it's going to cost as much as the Magnaflow systems. My question is this: should i wait or is the AVE with a resonator delete H Pipe really that much louder than stock that i wont want the Borla when it comes out ? For reference my 2018 GT PP had Roush Axle Backs with a Corsa Double X Pipe and Stainless Works Headers and it was ungodly loud, too much so and it didn't really sound all that great. It was just noise. So i want more volume than stock but not as loud as that crazy set up. i'm torn on just waiting on springing for the H Pipe now. Opinions from those that have gone this route or anyone's really would be very welcomed and helpful

I had Corsa LTH, straight piped to the Xtreme CB on my 2018 GT. So I feel your pain on the noise. Never again!!

Listening to clips, the resonator delete adds "some" volume it seems.

If I had to place a bet, you would be happier with the active Borla. Wait it out.

Or, for $200, try the reso delete in the meantime.

I have an X pipe on with the active exhaust and it's very "moody". My 2016 GT had the corsa extreme catback, and on certain days this car sounds very similar/just as loud in track mode. But other times, it seems like track mode is no louder than normal and neither mode has enough volume.

If you plan to go aftermarket (Borla, Magnaflow, Corsa, etc.), I would would skip the active exhaust. I have active on mine with the Steeda H Pipe and I like it and like the tone. However; it is no where near as loud as the Borla system on the 2019 GT I had previously. I chose the active due to not wanting to make my neighbors hate me. The 2019 GT with the Borla system was obnoxious on cold start, lol.
