remember the mounting hardware, you cant get all of it separate of the factory cat-back
1713236645874-53.png

you can only get the spring (5F264 in the picture), actuator itself (6K789 in the picture), and nuts to mount everything (HN3 in the picture). the mounting plate and bracket that the wire harness clip to cannot be gotten alone
Yes it seems like same as the actuator for s550 it only comes with the actuator and the spring but no heat protection plate and a mount. Fortunately I found that https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/thermal-protection/18307628041/ this will fit the actuator but no way to get the mount 🤦‍♂️

you will need 1X PR3Z-14A411-C and 2X PR3Z-14A411-A. i should note that if you plan to do the Dark Horse exhaust, it has different wires that connect to the actuators due to the longer distance. those ones are PR3Z-14A411-S and replace the ones ending in "A".
Thanks for the info. I don't know why but the longer wire;PR3Z-14A411-S is cheaper than PR3Z-14A411-A one shorter. So I placed order for 2* PR3Z-14A411-S, 2* PR3Z-5K245-B and 1*PR3Z-14A411-C. I will install them when they delivered and re-program without an active exhaust first to see if the actuators work or not. I will keep you posted.

we are going to get some great info with this, even if it does not end up working

You may already know, For S550(16-23) that non-ae, installed the actuator and reprogramed it with Forscan, they got the AE features like provided by the manufacturer. I hope it works for S650 as well otherwise, at least we would learn something

@Diodict can you keep this thread posted if you are successful in the entire installation? would be very interested to do this as a project as well and will follow the steps you take

I will. You can also see a post I keep updating https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/th...ust-to-a-non-ae-is-feasible-maybe-yes.160794/)

Current status of the project is that I placed an order for the parts. I heard most Ford parts are from the US so It will take some time to be delivered since I am in Canada.

@Diodict ..... I got A 2024 GT las February too. It did not have active exhaust. Did you find out if your 2024 was pre-wired for active exhaust and did you install an oem one or an aftermarket one?

@MAT1955 You can get the Y-harness for mustangs with AE and two OEM actuators, then install them, but you'll need ECU mapping to make them work. I didn't want to do mapping just for a new exhaust system, so I bought a remote control exhaust actuator from AliExpress, installed it, and used it.

@Diodict ..... yes, wouldn't want to re-program the ecu either. I have looked at the options from lethal performance and corsa which usually involve an air actuator system or a high amp solenoid system. Do you have a parts list of what you purchased from Ali Express? Did you remove the resonator package and install the H or X pipe cross overs? Did you replace the rear fascia to allow for dual tips? Any info appreciated. I am near Toronto.

I got MBRP catback exhaust system that designed to replace the stock system directly, so no welding was needed. I believe products from Corsa or Borla can also be installed by tightening clamps. I strongly recommend getting a drone-free exhaust system like Corsa or Borla, even if it costs more. The MBRP system gave me unbearable drone, which caused me headaches lol

For non-AE Mustang models, since they come with dual exhaust tips instead of quad tips, you’ll need to modify the rear fascia slightly. I trimmed it to fit the shape using a heated knife.

As for the actuators, I got items follow:

One of this,

two of this,

@TcarterGT2024 ..... which Corsa system did you buy? I really like Corsa, I installed a number of Corsa switchable exhausts for go-fasts. They called the system captain's call.
