Another Software update is here. 6.4.0

So I have the new instrument cluster (Classic '67-'68) but my screen doesn't tell me what version I'm running. Shows Last Updated: July 3, 2024 & what's in the update, but I don't see a version# anywhere. Anyone know where to find the Software version if not on this screen?

Mine too, but not sure what the ECG is. On others screen shots, it actually says "Software Update {version#}" ie 6.3.1, 6.3.2, or 6.4.0 at the top. Its not terribly important, but curious.

I can't get mine to show any updates, nor can i see a update history. I wonder if since its a new sale something needs to tick over in fords system for it to start getting updates.

I’ve had the updates and my Sync system performance is still beyond atrocious…

My Color scheme changes randomly.
No sound from any source. Usually happens after a restart when listening to Tidal.
Track gauges show up even though I default to Sport.
Frozen screen.

I have long ago given up on Ford Sync being a state of the art OS for Ford. It ranges from disappointing to downright pathetic in their vehicles and is the worst infotainment system in any brand I have owned(Chrysler, BMW, GM, VW, Honda, Audi, Hyundai/Kia).

You had a bad update. Dealer can fix that in 10 minutes.

Unfortunately it has been doing all those errors since day 1 through every update.

You got to have a faulty module in there. I'd still bring it up with a service department.

The easiest method is via the fordpass app.

Vehicle -> settings -> software updates -> release notes

Mine does not have that option, nor can I find it anywhere in the car.
