Do you have any pictures you can share? We have one installed. Left it in original color and ceramic coated it. The RTR splitter doesn’t look that good on the Mustang. The corners stick out way too far.

Very well. Looks the same as the day it was installedHow is the air design splitter holding up?
That's great to hear. I think I might buy this one. I like the one from Feral Industries as well but I've heard they communication is horrible. Any tips on installing?? I heard the instructions aren't clear.Very well. Looks the same as the day it was installed
I was out of town when it was ordered and my wife had it installed at the dealer when she picked it up. They didn’t charge her for installing so she went and had them do it. I believe it’s held on with 3M strips. I didn’t see the instructions. That's great to hear. I think I might buy this one. Thanks for the detailed response! I think might go ahead and pull the trigger on this one. Seems like the best option in terms of visual looks and installation.I've had the AD splitter (purchased through Ford Performance and professionally installed at a body shop) on my GT for a couple three months now. NP so far!
@viking805fan --it attaches over the OEM lip/splitter with adhesive tape (already in place on the splitter) and there is an included tube of adhesive (caulk gun needed to apply) to "fill in the gaps" (whatever that means---guessing the adhesive tape to OEM lip contact isn't 100%). If I remember rightly; the instructions recommended a 24 hour adhesive curing period BEFORE driving. The shop I used also removed my OEM wedge spoiler and attached a DAR rear wing and replaced my OEM badging at the same time as the splitter----so the adhesive had plenty of curing time in my case.
If you intend on DIY; as wide and as flexible as the splitter is; I'd think it would be VERY difficult to get a proper fit on the car without at least two people pressing it into place. Test fits required of course; with adhesive tape backing NOT REMOVED prior to installation!
Good luck with whatever you run with!
Install it like in this video?? Only video I've found of this front splitter. Check the time 2:50 on it.I've had the AD splitter (purchased through Ford Performance and professionally installed at a body shop) on my GT for a couple three months now. NP so far!

I haven't seen the written instructions but the video seems to follow the tips that you guys have offered on the forum. Like where they applied the glue and all. lolI didn't install it; as I said, I had it professionally installed at the body shop I use. I would imagine their installation of the splitter was very similar to that shown in the video (they did a darn nice job of it!).
BTW: That video (which I hadn't seen) was much more informative/illustrative than the written instructions!![]()
