Anyone think they’ll cancel the 2024 and I’ll have to re-order a 2025 Dark Horse?

Try this on for size. I ordered a 24GT Premium 3 times. April 2023, Sept 2023, and finally Dec 2023. 1st. time the car came in with wrong wheels and wrong color interior. Second time car came in with wrong spoiler and no A/E. Third time still waiting for delivery. My dealer called and said he received a 24GT Premium with everything I wanted and ordered including the mini spare and wheel. The car was $56,305.00. They gave me $35,000.00 for my 2020 GT Premium with 18,000 miles on her. I paid out of pocket $23,300.00 in Iconic Silver.

I changed out the 20 inch wheels for 19's from Discount Tire in Myrtle Beach. Made my own center caps and pinstriped my new ride. I added K&N filters, BMR Jacking Rails, JLT Oil Separator, under hood lighting, and a few other goodies . Now all is right with the world.

You probably won't have to cancel and reorder at all, I think they just update you that your order will be a 2025 at some point if it isn't built and let you know of any changes made between the model years.
They should do, but it isn't unknown for orders to drop into a black hole from time to time

But some BMW's including the M2 have had major delays too. It's just luck of the draw

The M2 is built in a new plant in Mexico. If you are on the East Coast there was major delays due to the Bridge disaster in Baltimore and going through the Panama Canal. I am on the West Coast and my car actually got here early. It was a short 4 day boat ride to Port Hueneme in Oxnard. I was hoping to get the Mustang here first (which I ordered before the M2) so if I liked it enough I wouldn't get the M2. The M2 actually got here a month early. I ordered the M2 at the end of March, the dealer told me the car would be here probably around 5 August. The car is on the way to the dealership hopefully today from the VPC in Oxnard, it should only be a 1 day drive Crevier BMW.

Another issue for the M2 was getting an allocation, I had my name on a list and when called I gave the deposit and ordered the car. I found an S650 with a very similar build to what I ordered and I was really torn. It really came down to what arrives first. I have to say I am getting excited getting back into a BMW M car. Its been 11 years for me.

Buyers remorse is a thing! I had a really nice E39 M5. Na V8. Miss it to this day. (Divorce made that go away) Found a S650 2 hours away specs I wanted. Been top notch with zero issues! I pondered getting a M2. Depends they are a sweet car. If I had mad money I would have both. Both are fast but different. Nothing like the Coyote roar just in a daily. Addictive! JS

"Had" being the operative word. It's no longer an issue. Not sure why it's taking Ford so much longer to figure this out compared to other manufacturers.

I just posted this in another thread, but ...

We provide a major sub-assembly to FRAP for all Mustangs. We have already watched the releases disappear for all of July and the rumor is that they will be down all of August. We still see August requirements, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do pull them all out as well.

I've been waiting on mine for a year now as well. Ordered July 7th, 2023 with no word since then. Even cancelled the handling package to try and speed it up a bit, but to no avail. Now I'm at a point where if it doesn't matter and I'm not getting it anyway, I might as well add the handling package back to it, and if it rolls over to a 2025 model, I told the wife I'll likely cancel and wait for the next GT500. It's frustrating though.
