The code is simply "7G", by the way... I just checked and it's active:

Thanks for checking that! Yeah, with the other discount pricing (probably always on, but I'll take any sales pricing lol) plus the additional $20 makes it hard to turn up. I'd love to do actual brembo install but I think the mishmash of just fronts being sold plus needing new lines, rotors, etc makes the investment not worth it right now, this is a perfect middle ground.

Agreed! Reply when you get them and let me know if you are as impressed with the quality and fitment as I was.

For being covers they look good. But please oh please, make sure they dont come off otherwise you'll have a bad and expensive day.

Just had another story happen. A girl I work with is a big Mustang fan and is always asking me about whatever I've done to it. She came to my office and said, "I just saw those Grabber Blue Brembos that you added! They look great!". I love that they then ask me if it stops any better and I tell them, nope, exactly like it used to. :)

But, yes, that would be a bad day! However, these are clamped on around both sides of the caliper with a stainless steel bolt preventing the clamp from opening up. Would really be next to impossible to fall off.

Wait, I’m older… that’s good, right? 😂😂
I'm old too. Mine is going in next month to have the calipers painted Lamborghini green. 😜

Not all of us need to flex a GT badge to feel validated — some of us just enjoy the build without breaking the bank.

I guess brakes don't count in a race, unless of course you can't stop when they're applied.

Fortunately, for street driving I don't think applying these will magically make them stop working, but stranger things have happened I suppose.

One of the major reasons I sold my Whipple GT. May have brake fade during high speed pursuits. Found a great buy on a DH Premium. Now I don't have to spend 20K+ to get my car up to the specs I need. I'd actually rather have my brakes painted black.

Definitely agree that getting the specs you want is more convenient and simple then overspending on upgrading, whether cosmetic or practical. I'd definitely consider actual performance upgrades regarding brakes, but as a lowly EB driver, I'd have a lot more pieces to upgrade versus a GT, like rotors, brake lines, possibly master cylinder depending on if I went for 6 piston vs 4, and then all the equipment to bleed and top up.

But it is what it is, I know an EB will never be a GT and especially DH, and fortunately I don't think I'll need to be in hot pursuit of anyone anytime soon for my job or for fun lol. Maybe when I get some more technical skill I'll give it a shot on my own, but I think I'll have a higher chance of my brakes failing if I try to install real upgrades myself than just putting a neat cover on lol

Nothing lowly about an Ecoboom or its owner. My wife wanted a Mustang, so I got her a 2024 Ecoboom Premium with the Performance Package including Brembos and all fully loaded. I've seen Ecobooms take 5.0s around town all day. I was going to get one, but in my line of work I need a serious edge, so I got a GT with Whipple. I had to have serious upgrades, so I got a slightly used DH Premium 2024 for a measly 60K. I still want my own Ecoboom, but the Performance Package is no longer available. They had a 3.55 axle, Brembos and all. I like Ecobooms, but not so much turbos. Be nice to convert one to a supercharger. That's one powerful 4 cylinder.

So Unk did you find out if your factory nite pony pkg wheels 19 will clear them? I ordered a set today and want to know if I need to order 5mm spacers for clearance

Sorry, I ended up tabling the idea for now and put my money towards the Dark horse steering wheel swap instead. I'd think it'd clear, I believe I've seen others say actual brembos clear the nite pony, but I'm not positive.
