Australia - 24C35 S650 Recall and Service Action Lookup

I wonder what this means for those of us that have their car but are still subject to the recall - it doesn't sound like it is an OTA fix - more like a "book it in" issue...

I reckon you will be contacted to say the fix is available and you then would need to take in your car.

Damn i had no idea of the issues regarding S650 Mustangs , Looks like i dodged a big bullet just settling for S550 . I must be the only guy in about 5 years who paid a deposit and had his car built and delivered in about 10 weeks . I was on the verge of ordering a S650 but the screens and a new unsorted model put me of and was lucky enough to maybe get one of the last allocations for S550 in the country . Paid $76k for a car that is now $96k to replace new for old on fords build site . If my car was written off i would not get another Mustang though This is definitely holding up newish S550 prices more than i would have anticipated . Anyway after 2nd service in April i will be getting blower done . Good luck to all and hope you get your cars soon in good working order .

Just saw this post on Facebook as well. Looks more and more like the info from Paul is accurate.
We should get our cars fairly soon I reckon. Of course I'm out of town that week of the 20th so with my luck my car will be ready that week and I wont be here!

For the update release, Is “next week” referring to Monday as in tomorrow or Monday the 20th?

I'm assuming "next week" is referring to some time next week, as in tomorrow onwards.

Remember this isn't official information, but Ford told Paul the software will be released in 1-2 weeks. That's why I'm thinking it may be that week of the 20th when I'm away (2 weeks from now), but if we are lucky, it could also be next week.

We don't get the Bronco in Australia. I've always thought Ford would do really well here if they brought it in.

Considering Bronco is on the T6 platform that was actually designed and engineered from the ground up in Australia, its a massive oversight and very disappointing. We should also get Bronco Sport and Maverick. Ford are so risk adverse on a global level that its actually to their detriment.

I know! I was really hoping its was going to be this week because I'm away next week. Of course none of this info is official so who knows if its accurate, but its all we've got at the moment.

I'm resting my hope more on what we had from Paul Maric, because he spoke to people inside of Ford Australia. Its as close to official as we can get right now. The Facebook post was just another coincidental confirmation that might confirm what Paul got.
