Look at when your car was built, vs when it was shipped to the dealership. Ford, if memory serves me, Ford has a 45 day stand test that says the battery can sit 45 days and still start the car. If it is more than 45 days, it needs to be charged with a battery charger, not the alternator of the vehicle. We would test them with a light bulb that simulated the draw of the vehicle when it is not being driven to validate the 45 day requirement.

Not sure about this. Every standard battery I’ve seen for the S550 is rated at 590 CCA. Also if they marked it red it should have replaced on the spot.
The S550 has a physically smaller battery. The Mustang now has the same battery as many Ford vehicles including the F150 (XL and XLT), the Edge and several others. It is also a different technology. The S550 had a flooded battery and the S650 has an AGM battery.

So far I have had no issues with my S650, although I have had some question of whether the battery may be weak or have issues. Several times I have received the notification in the Fordpass app that the remote functions of my car had been disabled in order to conserve the battery, and they would be available again once I restarted the car. This occurred after having driven the car around 12 hours earlier, and not just short trips. I didn't think much of it as I don't use the Fordpass app to remote start the car anyway. Then in watching the voltage in the instrument cluster while driving, the voltage was usually either 12.5 or 13.0 volts. That seems low as I'm used to seeing 13.5 or 14 when a car is running. Again, I wasn't too concerned because it had not given me any warnings or notifications. Then on Monday I took the car to get the oil changed at 1,300 miles, and the Ford Quicklane service facility marked the battery in the red and indicated the CCA were 590 (factory spec is 760).

Yesterday I took the car to the Ford dealer to have them check it out, and they ran the diagnostics on it, which they said required fully discharging and recharging the battery over approximately six hours, and everything checked out fine.

So, according to the dealer everything is good. I've had no issues with the car, so I'm assuming everything is fine. Has anyone else had anything similar happen?

For reference, my car's blend date was 8/17/23, and I picked it up from the dealer on 9/1/23, so it is not like it sat at the plant for months like some of the earlier builds.
My car has had a battery issue as well. I got the car back in February of this year. I took it to Ford, and they said it looked fine, but it died as they were pulling it out of the service bay. They said they were going to let it sit overnight to see if it would hold a charge, and if not, they would just replace it. The car is currently at 3,700 miles. This is the first issue I've had with the car.
I use the Ford Pass app occasionally and it gave me the same error when the battery went out.

If it is more than 45 days, it needs to be charged with a battery charger, not the alternator of the vehicle.
Alternators are not intended to charge batteries. They are intended to power the electrical system and accessories while the vehicle is running and to maintain the state of charge of the battery.

I have had my GT about a week driving it 45 min a day 2 trips and I got the alert that it was turning off my connected services due to low battery, had the battery and alternator checked and they both checked good. My volts seem to stay between 12 and 14 so I don’t know what that was about. Hoping it was just a random gremlin
