Ok we have an O'reilly here in town. So no mixing at all? Just pour it right into the clear tank when the car is cold I assume?
Depends on which one you buy. there is concentrate and then there is ready to use.

I will look for the ready to use. Not sure if I should fill to max fill line or maybe just halfway inbetween the mix and max lines? Honestly I don't think I've ever put coolant in a car before which I guess is a good thing:)

I went a hair above Max's I wanted to see movement easier, and it's easier to see with the Max Line there, won't hurt it being at max.

I would stick with the Motorcraft antifreeze that is the factory fill. You can get a gallon of prediluted antifreeze from your dealer. It's not that expensive. In a pinch, Amazon has it as well.

Does anyone know the difference between the Motorcraft Gold and Motorcraft Yellow? Look to be the same price at O'reilly.

For coolant I ALWAYS go with the manufacturer's product. Never, ever, ever, ever, go with something that says compatible with X,Y,Z. That is always a compromise. Same for tranny fluid. Just my opinion.

I was reading some of your posts to see what the end result of your low coolant issue but then I see you sold your Mustang. Sad to hear that but completely understandable. Did you ever figure out what was causing your low coolant issue? If so what was the fix? I've had my Atlas Blue Metallic 24 GT since April and my coolant level has always been right at the min level since day one until just recently.

You can see where the coolant level is now in my thread:

I never did figure out the cause, i did add coolant 1 time to get it back to the proper level and it never dropped again. So I'm not really sure what caused the issue. My oil analysis showed no coolant in the oil so who knows where it went. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Well that's good to hear that it never did it again after you topped it off. Curious as to what your driving now that you sold your Mustang?

My 01 F150 and my wife has a 18 Rav 4. Buying a 2021 Tundra come spring. I have my first child due in 5 weeks and a truck will be a lot more convenient for her. Fortunately money isn't an issue, the quality issues on the stang were, so in time I'll get another toy. Looking at a Mach 1, C7 Z06 or C8 within 5 years of now.

Sounds like a nice plan you have. Congrats on the marriage and the first child.
