WTAF @Ford Motor Company?! I ordered on 3/27. This is just bonkers. Nothing special about my order either. Just an Ecoboost Premium. That's it.

At this point, Ford SURE AS HELL offer those of us early orders some money back, fordpass points, or SOMETHING. I've already asked my dealer if they have a loaner to spare since I sold my car after repeatedly being told my Mustang would arrive by my wedding date (it did not).

I'm now shopping around for what is available on dealer lots, and they aren't Mustangs. Can't be without a car and this is leaving a helluva bad taste in my mouth.

Just got off the line with the above line. Don at Ford was a consummate professional. He let me know the car is NOT on hold and just waiting for pick up. I let him know, in no uncertain terms, I need a date it will be on truck since I'm happy to take my big wad of cash elsewhere if I don't get a solid answer soon. I aired my considerable disappointment that I'm seeing other cars in customer hands that ordered MONTHS after me and that I'd like a call back from someone in Ford outbound logistics within 24 hours to explain themselves.

Also said, if it's just a question of a truck, I'm happy to drive down to FRAP this afternoon to pick the car up myself.

If I have to, I will go to LinkedIn and get some answers direct.

Don't f*** with supply chain managers and vets. We know.

OOF on the insurance quote. $600 for 6 months to over $1000. That said it's going from a 2015 Honda Fit to a Mustang... So I can't complain too much.
