Just ordered Variant Heliums via @Variant Wheels. 19x10 square. Will be getting 285 40 19 tires this spring and leaving the blizzaks on the stock rims.

Parts are beginning to pile up. Need warmer weather!

@Variant Wheels 19x10 arrived in perfect condition. Can't wait for warmer weather to get tires on and put on my car. Full review at that time, but ATM very impressed with quality, packaging, and service.

Ordered MP Concepts Upper Grille

So the MP Concepts upper grill does not come with the tow hook receiver cover (below): Anyone have a bead on what that cover is officially called and or a part number for the glossy option (ecoboost is matte)?

@MPConcepts Upper Grille

Value:
3/10 - IF this fit an EB as advertised, this honestly would be a 10/10. Looks good and $145 shipped is an incredible value. Would also be nice if it included the glossy tow hook block, but still an insane value - IF IT FIT.

Ease of install:
1/10 - If I could give this a negative I would. I verified more than once with American Muscle that this item would fit an EB. It does not. Tabs are off more than 0.5" in places and it's definitely only a fit for GTs from everything that I've seen and read. Took several hours of adjustments and pulling it on/off the bumper to make it fit.

Looks:
9/10 - Incredible upgrade to the look of the EB. Love it.

Overall:
4/10 - Fitment as advertised is not it. Does not fit EB. Feel of product is incredible for price point and for those with a GT, I would 100% recommend.

@MPConcepts Chin Spoiler (see same picture as grill)

Value:
9/10 - Several options out there, but very pleased with appearance, fitment, and price.

Ease of install:
6/10 - Fit exactly as intended. Took significant time due to pulling the bumper to install at the same time as the grill. Without, just requires a lot of 7mm bolts, plastic fasteners etc. Not the easiest, but not bad.

Looks:
7/10 - Not the best finished product obviously being 3 separate pieces and being a budget item, but still a solid upgrade for the price.

Overall:
8/10 - Fits as prescribed and comes with all the necessary hardware and decent directions. Great look for price.

@SteedaTech Mustang Strut Tower Brace

Value:
5/10 (bonus +2) - this is a hard one with all the options on the market for a LOT less, but bc of what I wanted to do with 3D prints, this is a great platform. Got it on black Friday shipped for just under $180.

Ease of install:
9/10 - Doesn't get much easier. A few bolts and retainers. No lift necessary. All the necessary hardware included.

Performance (perceived):
7/10 - Maybe entirely placebo effect but the front end definitely seems happier to change directions and maintains flat cornering better than previously.

Overall:
7/10 - For what I wanted to do with it, perfect item. Hard to justify the price that Steeda is charging otherwise.

Notes:
Will be redoing the plaque as the 2000 degree paint turned out like crap (see lower right corner) and I don't like the finish, but it works for the moment. Son did a great job on designing and printing the plaque. Fit perfectly.

Project Blackbird is done for the time being. @Variant Wheels, the helium's look sick! Would probably say this is a bit more aggressive than what I was going for, but they look great. Riding on General Tire AS07 (still living in Mich - never know what the weather will do here).

@Variant Wheels Helium 19x10 +32 square (see pictures in posts above)

Value:
8/10 - Even at a group buy rate, these are not the cheapest wheels out there. They are of fantastic quality in my humble opinion and are a solid value at a group buy rate. Love that these are made in the US and that does plus up the value significantly in my eyes.

Appearance:
9/10 - These are definitely quality wheels designed and made with care. Nary an imperfection anywhere I could see in the wheel or finish.

Fitment:
6/10 - This is highly subjective, mostly depending on what you want and more a rating of how this size fits on the S650 than anything else. I should have done my homework better on what offset to go with. +32 10" on the rear puts some significant rubber outside the body, but that is not Variant's fault. Funny enough, it doesn't look that drastic on the front.

Performance (perceived):
8/10? - Hard to rate this - I didn't weigh the wheels themselves, but they appear they should hold up to significant abuse.

Overall:
8/10 - Customer service and sales were 9/10 and I would 100% absolutely choose to work with Variant again. May actually see if I can visit when I move to AZ in '28.

Doesn't warrant a formal review, but TPMS bought from Steeda were Ford Performance parts and linked to my Mustang with zero need to go through the relearning process. They're still listed for $104.99 - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

11/10 buy these now.
