Hi there! I can look into your mustang's latch concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your mustang's VIN?Wife's new 7g convertible top is rather tough to latch. Any adjustment ideas?
What he saidmake sure roof is fully in place as far forward as it will go. I leave the button on a half second longer to make sure. then pull down with a good amount of force while turning the latch. mine was very difficult when new but has gradually gotten easier. maybe there is a break-in period but it is noticeably easier now than it was.

Had a similar issue and was asked if I garage it with the top down, which I normally do. Leaving it parked for several days with the top up allowed the fabric to stretch into place. Now it closes completely. Just need to remember to park with the top up every now and then.Wife's new 7g convertible top is rather tough to latch. Any adjustment ideas?
Parking in direct sun on a few hot days should do the trick.Had a similar issue and was asked if I garage it with the top down, which I normally do.
