I live in coastal Rhode Island where we get little snow. I bought a Mazda cx50 for those days when there is snow, or when the roads still have salt on them. Plus, having the cx50 allows me more cargo space than my convertible along with room for a dog. I also try to get out with the GT once or twice a week for some continuous highway driving.

Garaged and Covered over the winter, but always ready to go. Its my "fun" car ('24 GT Conv), not daily unless the weather permits. As others have posted, I keep it off the roads when they have brine/salt on them.

My Bullitt and I will be taking a stroll in a little bit. Got to run a few errands and it is a nice sunny day. And what the heck!

We just had 6 plus inches of snow on Monday, but today it's sunny, 30ish and dry roads and I'm taking the DH (non HP) out for a little exercise. I hope youvall enjoy your cars. And I also had the Cobra out on 1 Jan for a Cruise with other Cobras around DC.

Well I just took my mustang out of storage. After almost 6 months I was anxious to get it out.

Since it was the first time I stored a car during winter. I was expecting an almost dead batterie and some air missing in the tires. I was really surprised when I plug in the batterie and it started on the first try. Alao I didn't even loose 1 lbs of air in any of my tires.

Car was stored inside but not heated and batterie was left in the car but unplug.

So finally enjoying it for the next 6 months. Yesssss!

Third Mustang - 2024 GT Premium Convertible. Like all before - stored from end of November to May 1st in a non heated garage with a soft cover on it. Washed and waxed before storage. Started every three weeks and run to full operating temperature. Run heater to move coolant through it as the coolant also acts as an anti corrosive. Shift through the gears a number of times (auto trans) and move the vehicle back and forth about 5 feet in the parking spot. Also personally sprayed the undercarriage with a clear oil protectant (Corrosion Free) before it left the dealership as an extra protection. Put three bars of Irish Spring deodorant under the car to ward off mice who now seem to like the soy based wiring of new cars. Over inflate the tires by five pounds.

You really should keep a battery maintainer on it. Just an inexpensive NOCO 1A unit is all you need.

My car sits in the garage from the first week of November until right about now (she's been out 4 times so far this month). During this time it sits on a tender.

Yeah I know but the problem is where the car is stored, there are no electrical outlet near it and I really mean near it. The closest is about 75 feet away and since they are more than 1 car store there the owner doesn't allow it.

Sounds like a case of "Remove Battery, Store in Laundry room on a tender"

I am curious to see if you store your mustang in winter.

I live in Quebec city and I store my car for winter. Salt, sand and everything else they put on the road will damage too much the car. That's not counting the cost of winter tires. I paid over 70k cad money and I would like to keep my car rust free and in pristine condition as long as I can as this will probably be the last brand new car I buy. I am 65

I have a fusion titanium 2013 that I bought new that I use for my winter driving.

If it’s Snowing or wet roads our 2024 GT stays in the Driveway.
I only drive on dry roads.
I have an attached Garage but the last car in it was a 1955 Mercury Monterey.
They use very little Salt here.
The Winter Sun melts the Snow very Fast.
When your over 5,000 ft. You’re closer to the Sun.
Ny father always said the Sun shines 300 days a year in Colorado.
The other 65 days it Shines in Michigan.
I’m very close to a Car Was.
Our 2020 F-150 4x4 Limited is our all around Winter, Summer Vehicle. đźš—.
