Driving mode steering/throttle differences.

I haven’t found much online showing in detail the difference between steering and throttle response differences between the different driving modes.

How do the different driving modes make the steering and throttle response feel on the 2024 GT’s? Really curious about Sport vs Track mode.

Throttle response is better in sport, not much difference in steering. Tbh

In track mode, at least in my car, the throttle is more linear and likes to be driven at higher rpms. Sport+ throttle response is more pronounced and can make the car feel faster. Steering remains the same in both modes. No difference. If you look at track apps status screen you can see that steering stays in Sport+ when in track mode. There is no "track" steering mode.

Sport mode, with auto start/stop disabled, seems to be the intended drive mode for enthusiasts. It has the smoothest throttle response and the most linear, direct handling.

I can't really speak to the difference in steering, I have not noticed any difference, but the throttle response in Sport mode is like going from neutered economy mode into "hey this car will actually accelerate when you hit the gas" mode.

There are lots of time I will hit the mode paddle down twice when I want some oooomph

I think the main difference for track mode is the suspension setup.

Track mode = stiffest suspension mode, Sport+ steering, linear throttle pedal
Sport+ = seems to be the preferred mode, myself included.

When I'm in sport mode and especially track mode, the car kicks and revs when braking when in auto, doesn't seem to do it if I'm using the paddle shifters in manual. It's pretty cool, but what is that?

That is "engine braking".. it is what you would do if driving a manual (properly).

Not just. In sport mode, the programming is not as lazy, in anticipation you will be on the throttle again, and likely with enthusiasm when the braking is done. I really like the way the A10 downshifts in sport, especially when you are just pushing the brakes a bit.
