Anyone ever hear of eurocompulsion LLC.? They make engine performance products. They now have a product for the Ecoboost engine that is supposed to increase HP and Torque. They have a V1 air induction system that sounds like a nice performance upgrade. Its supposed to increase airflow and decrease air temp feeding into turbo which should increase the performance.

thoughts?

I had a 2017 st3 fost a few years ago, that could keep up with Gt v8. Imagine what you could do with an ecoboost now.

I purchased the induction tube and (dry) high flow air filter from Eurocompulsion. The connecting points for the blow off valve and valve cover breathing tube were longer, requiring some adjustment to make it fit. The induction tube material and shape other appears to be high quality, very sturdy and has good insulating properties.

I didn't like the fit of the air filter so ended up using a K&N (they offer that option, too, when ordering).

I'm pleased that Eurocompulsion offers these performance products and hope they have a tune out in the near future.

Hoping to get some more input on this, as I heard some good reviews from a friend who installed their kit on a giulia with no issues, so I'm hoping that this was a tiny blip in their operations.

I'll be happy to reply as I designed that intake. I hope it's OK that I'm posting here. I do plan to start a vendor account on this forum as soon as we finish testing of some of our unreleased products.

Yes, we made a mistake. The intake has two ports on it. Because of the way it's made both come off the machine the same length. The smaller one gets trimmed by hand to fit properly . In this case, this particular intake slipped through and wasn't trimmed, the the smaller of the two ports was too long.

We communicated with the customer and once he sent us a picture so we could see the problem we tried to take care of him right away. We offered him a number of choices. 1. We can send a replacement that's trimmed correctly, of course he would have return the other one. 2. He can trim it himself. It's just a measure of reducing the length by a 1/4 inch with a hose cutter or a razor knife. Pretty simple 3. He could return it for a full refund minus shipping fees.

The customer chose option 3.

In regards to the filter we have three types here, two aftermarket and the OEM filter. Both aftermarket filters (which I think are the only two out right now) fit the same way. Yes you can shake the filter assembly, but that doesn't mean it's not sealing well enough to prevent dirt from bypassing the filter.

We have this filter on our own car and we live in a dusty area of rural Oklahoma. Dust does not get around the filter, if it did we would see dust in the intake downstream of the filter. We certainly do not. There are a number of reasons for this, chief among them is that the filter seals well enough, but also when the car is moving pressure in the airbox before the filter is always higher than engine bay pressure, thus any dirt in the engine bay is pushed away, not into the air box. That's one of the features of Ford's design. The design of the box is also such that particles can not go around the filter internally. Also, if the filter wasn't sealing correctly we would see that via higher intake air temperatures from engine compartment air entering during dyno runs. That doesn't happen.

All that said, the intake can certainly be used with the stock filter if desired.

Sincerely,
Greg (I don't post here normally and won't again until I start my account so if you have further questions please contact us via email)

Based on what I have read over at "Mustang Ecoboost Net", EuroCompulsion is moving forward, very slowly, on modifications and tuning for the 2024+ Ecoboost Mustang.
Which makes sense, based on your experience, if they released aftermarket parts early and received negative feedback from customers, then they would have to go back and redevelop their products, plus do extensive testing.

So, here's an update, after I installed and tested (see two pics below of my PP Ecoboost):

This insulated induction tube not only looks good, but I saw temperature improvements (i.e., cooler, denser air) getting to my intake manifold. From my research, the alternatives, (the few there are) are not actually getting cooler air to system but merely look good or sound good. The stock airbox on the S650 Ecoboost is quite good, but could benefit from a high flow filter and better insulation (enter EC induction tube). Note: Check out "Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles" channel on YT where he tests this exact system. I already have a excellent flow exhaust system, and the Ford Performance Air/Oil Separators, so now I'm only waiting on the Eurocompulsion tune (or Ford Performance, if they ever get around to it).

Awesome to see the tube in action! I also got the tube in black and I definitely see the drop in air temperatures. I am curious, though, how does the air/oil separator help? I don't know much about that side of things!

That's awesome...looks great! (I really like your Ford Performance strut brace plate). Here's the description from the Ford Performance site:

Help protect your 2024-2025 Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost engine with the Ford Performance dual air/oil separator kit. This is a must for any track enthusiast.
  • Fits 2024-2025 Mustang with 2.3L EcoBoost engine
  • Dual system comes complete with (2) canisters, brackets, and hoses
  • Precision molded canisters with unique filter media separates oil vapor from the air in the PCV system to keep oil out of the intake
  • All OEM style hoses and connectors are used for high quality installation and function
  • Highly engineered system - not a universal, fits-all kit - designed by engineers that know your Mustang EcoBoost engine
  • Easy to drain canisters - remove PCV hoses, remove canisters and drain oil
  • Engineered and manufactured in the USA

Basically, a Ford-sanctioned left and right side catch can system.

Was this a self-install, and if so how was the fitment? I want to try this myself but I'd say I am not very mechanically inclined, but I think attaching a hose wouldn't be too much of a challenge. My only worry is working it around the existing tubing and making sure not to lose anything when tightening it back down.

Looks like a nice kit!

The catch can is considered a primary modification, on the 2015 to 2023 Ecoboost Mustang, as well as high quality, high octane fuel (91/93), performance motor oil, high flow air filter and intake, and a quality, high performance intercooler.

PS: I've chatted with Greg and his team at EuroCompusion. They have purchased a 2024 Ecoboost Mustang and have done extensive research and development with said Car.

Yes, this was a self-install. I found it relatively easy, but I did have to slightly modify a couple of things and I am a former aircraft mechanic. It's not too hard, but if you have a friend with mechanical skills that would make it go easier.
