My new 2024 GT has 1000 miles on it. 3 months old now. Just checked the oil after it sat cold all night. The dip stick shows 1/2 way on the cross hatches.

Mine doesn’t look that off from yours. Have you changed it?

it's been 11 pages and this is still not understood

There was a member who stated because I didn’t check it when I initially picked it up there is no way to tell where my level actually began. I drove now over 400 miles on the car and just started tracking this. The thread is now being used to monitor if my level was initially like this from the beginning or my car has been consuming oil the entire time and was filled to the top hatchmark. I hope that clears up any confusion.

So I’m assuming yours has stayed that way since delivery
Yes it has. I have checked it a couple times. If I recall it measures a little bit higher after driving it. I plan on warming the engine up prior to my DIY oil change. At that time I will check my dip stick and grab a photo before draining the oil so I have a bench mark of where things were after 1000 miles.

Sounds like mine. I’m gonna monitor it for another week then write off any hard oil consumption. I might not have 9.5 exact from factory but it’s really close. This is a relief.

You could measure how many quarts come out. When I do my DIY oil change I always put the oil in 1 gallon milk jugs and it gets picked up during our curbside recycling. I will record how much drains out of mine. I'm curious now.
