On the bottom towards the middle it will say either convoy or rail convoy being truck and rail being train

Extremely anecdotal but just got off the phone with my dealer. He said an ETA of 8/1-8/7 like the usual windows we've all been getting.

But his tracker also shows they have a truck scheduled to arrive at their lot on 8/4 at 5pm with my order. Not sure if this is just a placeholder or legit but I'm starting to get really excited.

Has anyone else had their dealer tell them anything about when the truck is scheduled to arrive?
The dealer has an exact date and has had one since you have been given an eta and the pattern so far has been almost exactly in the middle of the ETA range my dealer has given me one since my first ETA back in last week of June. Sorry to burst your bubble I hope your dealer is right but until the car actually leaves the plant the ETA is completely bogus.

I see it now, convoy says ramp 1 - CA03, don’t know what CA03, BTW - We order the same color, but you got the v8.

Gonna be a beaut mine is CT51, also don’t have an idea in what that means but I do know my car is currently at ramp 51 so maybe those are related

my eta got pushed from july 28-aug 3 to aug 1-aug 7. smh...
Talked to Ford Performance chat today, got the same updated eta. The did say to check back later in the week. Not sure if he was suggesting something or just being friendly.

They do seem more interested in answering questions than the regular chat.

The manager at my dealer told me today the whole thing still revolves around the OKTB status, which still has not been reached. He was told there were still some "quality control issues" to solved before OKTB would be reached. He said the car movement seen earlier this week is nothing more than Ford shuffling cars around to make room at the plant. SO, put zero faith in arrival dates. The ETAs will be pushed back multiple times until Ford gets it all together. What I still don't understand is why would they continue to build cars if quality control was an issue? I can't help but wonder if it goes beyond a production line issue but rather an EPA certification issue or something government related.

That's actually concerning if it's EPA or government related. I really hope that's not the case.
When I talked to my dealer he said that based on the tracker it should be here next week. But based on what you said, if they indeed have quality issues, I'm sure that date will be get pushed back.

Also makes me wonder, why even do media drives and press releases if they still have quality issues ?? Logically, you'd do that when you're ready for OKTB status.

Yes you would think with the media releases, its about go time...but nothing is logical these days it seems.

I don’t think any dealer actually knows what’s going on. They are most likely drawing conclusions based on rumor and conjecture just like we all do here on the forums. Ford should put out an update to dealers that gives some kind of insight into the issues, and in doing so hopefully a better timeline.
