I agree they are just relaying the information given from their systems which is just these bogus datesI don’t think any dealer actually knows what’s going on. They are most likely drawing conclusions based on rumor and conjecture just like we all do here on the forums. Ford should put out an update to dealers that gives some kind of insight into the issues, and in doing so hopefully a better timeline.
I am in MD (OC and Harford) and my sticker says CONVOY. Which means carrier. It’ll probably push again, status changes weekly, sad To say. But it the reality of the matter and we all just need to remain calm. The question I wonder is will they ship by carrier or by rail. I’m in Maryland?
Dealer just let me know my delivery moved from range to delivery on 7/31/23, I’ll be on golf trip, back on 8/3/23, so I’ll keep you posted. Heck Ford maybe messing with me, lolIt was moved from flat rock to Dearborn on 7/21, waiting for shipment

Unfortunately I think the priority code is when you placed your order. I placed my first one in town here the end of March and it was a 10, Then I canceled it and waited a month or two and then went to the other dealership right up the road, and now it’s a 19. The lady I spoke to on the phone yesterday at Ford told me they go by the priority number for the customers.Priority code is only for dealers and I would assume it will be mostly dealer stock orders as they were built first then our orders will go through but this all depends on availability of transport to various locations
Luckily living here, I can drive pretty much year around, But that does suck the way you’ve been done. Did you get the np?I ordered a s550 pp in mischievous purple last year only for it to get cancelled after waiting 5 months. They decided to push my order through as s650 in black with no obligation. Had a build time eta of September 11th and got notified after talking to my dealer today that my build date is now to be determined. I expect it’ll have been almost a full year by the time I take delivery just to put it in the garage all winter. Conisidering just cancelling and seeing if they do another 350 type special edition.
It’s not ford only cares about priority codes when it’s under 10 cause that’s the ones that they can assign (but now they are giving select dealers the ability to go less then 10) most dealers will put all orders as a default 19 and you can ask to have a lower number I asked for 10 and my dealer obliged. But that only effects the priority of the allocation your dealer gets. So if your dealer has only one allocation Ford system will pick the one with the lowest number that has all parts available. Now if your dealer just uses the same number for all orders I assume it would be picked based on order date but that’s just a guess.Unfortunately I think the priority code is when you placed your order. That couldn’t be true either because the dealers have cars coming to and Are just as clueless as us, as they don’t even know when theirs will be in. They see nothing more than what we see as far as these cars coming in and they’re getting just as aggravated as we areThe dealer has an exact date and has had one since you have been given an eta and the pattern so far has been almost exactly in the middle of the ETA range my dealer has given me one since my first ETA back in last week of June. Sorry to burst your bubble I hope your dealer is right but until the car actually leaves the plant the ETA is completely bogus.
You misunderstood what I was saying. They have an exact date vs a range that Ford chat gives but it is also just an ETA. This date for me has just has been the middle of what the range ford chat has given. These are just as useless though as the dates from Ford chat and they have probably less info than we do.That couldn’t be true either because the dealers have cars coming to and Are just as clueless as us, as they don’t even know when theirs will be in.
