i guess math is not your strong suit. 76K-64K=12K
Neither is doing apples to apples comparisons. He couldn't afford a Darkhorse so he is compensating for only getting a GT. :cwl:  :cwl:  :like:

By the way, a 2023 Mach 1 with the 700A, Elite, and Appearance packages has a sticker of $65,000. A 2024 Darkhorse Premium with the Appearance package is 68,715. A difference of $3715.

The DORK-HORSE which is a re-badged Mach 1 for $20K more šŸ¦¹šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø is most certainly OVER PRICED šŸ„± but of course if you own one you'll be the last to admit that šŸ‘
Who cares?

I mean really, if you like it and can afford it get it. Or donā€™t. Your call. No point in disparaging someoneā€™s decision because you couldnā€™t afford it or didnā€™t think it was a good value.

And for the record, I had a 2022 Mach 1 and two 2023s. Still have a 2023 and a DH as well. I love them both but the DH isnā€™t a rebadged anything. Theyā€™re somewhat similar but drive totally differently.

Well apples to apples, the 2023 Mach 1 stickered for $57,965, the 2024 Dark Horse $60,635. Hardly $20,000. We all know about the ā€˜25 price increases which make the ā€˜24 a much better value.
While that may likely be accurate, thatā€™s not why I bought my 2024 DH in December. I bought it because it was there when I was, I liked it and was able to work out what I thought was a fair trade. But Iā€™ll tell you this: when youā€™re on the go pedal in track mode with the windows down, rollinā€™ in the top of second gear through a tight mountain curve and the big Trofeos ainā€™t giving up so much as an inch, what you paid is not too important!

I wrote about what I think about pricing and the DorkHorse. I did not bash or throw mud. Just disagreed with the popular opinion - which apparently is enough.

And the key to education/success is factual information. Thatā€™s where you seem to have an issue. Being truthful is another one. Calling the Dark Horse DorkHorse is bashing it. You, of course, have a right to do that. But don't be surprised when the clique call you out on it.

That is exactly what you did do! You continue to use the term 'Dork Horse' which is clearly meant to belittle and wind up those that have one. What to you expect to achieve doing that?

Education on your part to learn how to conduct yourself in a civil way will be the key to your success!

Ford performance have started using Max Verstappen to advertise the dark horse, looks like they're using an early euro model with the lip spoiler.

Seems a bit mad to me that they're entering F1 as an engine promotor (they have little to do with the engine with their name on it) and yet they make ONE car which is limited availability / appeal in most markets.

Ford is a global manufacturer who makes numerous cars for the European market. But as it is here in the US the Mustang is iconic. What better reason them to use it in their advertising?

Like the USA Ford Europe has ditched all of it's cars with the exception of the mustang (mondeo, focus, fiesta etc all going / gone) the other vehicles categories they have left are 'suv's & crossovers' and 'hybrid & electric' pretty much the same vehicles in each category.

Ford used to be a rival to Vauxhall / Opel (Former GM brand) but they've given up on the small affordable car market as the koreans / chinese now dominate the low end.

snakeyes, you might want to listen to the two guys I quoted above.

There are usually several ways of getting the exact same point across. Thereā€™s almost always a way to make your point without being offensively harsh, hyperbolic or pejorative. If you donā€™t want to draw poor reactions to your opinions itā€™s always a good idea to choose one of these more thoughtful ways of making your point.

You chose not to use the softer approach, which leaves only two possibilities:

1. you knew exactly what you were doing and did it anyway, or
2. you were unaware of how your words came across.

If itā€™s 1, well youā€˜re on your own. If itā€™s 2, eventually life will teach you whatā€™s acceptable and what isnā€™t (if youā€™re paying attention) but a car forum packed with enthusiastic and opinionated members probably isnā€™t the best place to try out new material.
