Hello,

I know there several choices with lowering springs, but wanted to add some Ford performance lowering springs with magneride... But only see them for the non-magneride. I am missing something... Which I could be. And a silly question on the install.. should I consider just a tire shop? I want someone who knows what the heck they are doing. Any suggestions please. Thanks everyone

I bought a spring compressor and did that at home. Surprisingly, the rears are the hard ones. Full discloser, I have a very well equipped shop.

What style/brand spring compressor did you purchase? I have the springs in my basement and it is getting warm enough that I want to install them soon. I am back and forth on buying my own spring compressor versus having a shop swap the springs.

Front spring didn’t seem sketchy with this method? You hear so many conflicting stories. People either don’t sweat doing this or absolutely won’t do it.
Had zero issues on the front with this tool. Like I said previously, the rears are tough because they are buried. We all have different levels of confidence, if you don’t feel comfortable doing it, have a shop do it. I am retired, so it is fun for me to do myself.
