Wanting to use my Ford Pass points, ordered 2 weeks ago from a local dealer. Can’t order directly through Ford Performance since Arizona is blocked out from direct Ford Performance purchases. Dealer called on Friday saying Ford is out, but they’re having one expedited. Seems like there’s a run on them. I’m in no hurry, but would like to see if it helps the S650 GT feel as planted and nimble as my S550 Ecoboost was which didn’t have the brace.

Update: I got an email yesterday saying my order was cancelled. No reason that I can find as to why. I haven’t had time to call and find out why. I’m guessing they are out of stock. It looks like my FordPass/Ford Rewards Points I used to purchase were refunded.

Update, I called and the lady made it happen. She said it wasn’t processed for some reason. Either way I have it on the car now. All is good again 😁

Thats awesome news!! Though I'm confused as this is not the same story Ford Accessories told me. I just got an email yesterday saying they are still out of stock.

I know this is a little old but did you use the 41 lbft torque spec?

I am getting a catch can and may have to remove my brace for install and don’t want to be one of the 6G horror stories

I did follow installation instructions but I do not remember the actual torque value. I had to get creative with the catch can bracket though. I had to modify it to mount lower in order to clear the strut tower.

Which can did you get. Is it the UPR can? I can’t quite make it out from the picture.

@BYBO....did you clean the studs before installing the new nuts? The studs have to be very clean and new nuts used or the studs can twist. We torque the nuts to 1/2 spec, wait a half hour then final torque to avoid stretching and shearing the nuts.
