It is kinda funny that they called it “Crowdstrike” and surely they did “strike” the “Crowd” with problems! Ugh!I noticed the feedback is asking for an order number. In previous e-mails sent by Ford, if I clicked on the embedded link, I was brought to the tracking page, with the four-digit order # and entire VIN auto-populating.
If you are inputting a valid order number, being early Sunday AM, there are at least two other possibilities:
- The Crowdstrike outage continues; Ford might have leased services from them
- Ford's internal systems might be down for maintenance, backups, upgrades, etc
I'd try back again during business hours, Monday.
Agree - after months using the tracker with varying degrees of success, I found that Edge is the most consistent browser for Windows and any Apple device is better than a PC for getting a valid response from the tracker.A few more things I thought worth mentioning:
- Disable all ad blockers; they're often on by default
- Try a different computer or browser. For example, if it doesn't work using a cell phone, try a PC or Mac with Google Chrome or another well-known browser
