you know where I saw a whole cavelcade of Ford high performance vehicles, good road and interior shots and "oh my, I want to check those out" advertising?

Freaking lighting fixture company. Sounded similar to Mishimoto.
GT500, F150, F150 Lightning, and Escape.

I was on the edge of my seat thinking FINALLY a 'brotherhood of muscle' style ad from Ford and was agog when a the end it was about lighting. Huh?!?!?!

The Mustang lead designer said something very similar during the reveal. If I recall correctly he said something along the lines that the handling is next level due to the flat bottom steering wheel, or something like that. I just rolled my eyes in my imagination.

Ford musta got a screaming deal on the wheels and need to push them.
Ford maybe make the pedal placement for heel and toe. and stop with the b/s flat bottom wheel makes the car handle better.
All the flat bottom wheel does is make the f/f import crowd go wow I don't have to buy a wheel if I buy this.

Ford must be referring to Formula 1; Indy racing; or other European cars not NASCAR. A quick "in and out" steering wheel has been around for decades. It's called a "tilt" wheel. Automotive designers aren't real-world people.

Nissan has had an automatic pedal placement switch for decades. Just read this morning, Ford is copying GM on rear bumper steps (new to 2023 F150). Ford always takes the Henry Ford approach to automotive evolution (If it works, don't mess with it).
